We consistently receive high rankings from Engineering News-Record (ENR) in many classifications, including the categories of Top Design Firms, Top Contractors, Top Green Buildings Design Firms, and Top Transportation Companies.\nWhat We Need:\nWe are seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager for our Spent Fuel Handling Project (SFHP) near the Naval Reactors Facility at Idaho National Lab, which is approximately 55 miles from Idaho Falls. As a Senior Construction Project Manager, you must demonstrate expertise in project budgeting, cost control, forecasting, CPM scheduling, contract administration, subcontractor management, change management, risk mitigation, and construction project execution. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills are required\nAs an experienced Construction Project Manager, the expectation is to lead the execution of large-scale Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Management (EPCM) projects within the SFHP. This role is responsible for overseeing project delivery from planning through commissioning, managing subcontractors, controlling project budgets and schedules, mitigating risks, and ensuring safe, high-quality execution. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience managing complex capital projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.\nThis position will report directly to the Project Execution Authority and will also have management level employees on the project as direct reports. This position is client facing with an emphasis on ensuring Schedule, Cost, Scope and Safety and will coordinate and cooperate with client and subcontractor staff and/or its consultants, in carrying out their day-to-day duties.\nResponsibilities include:\n· Responsible for overall project delivery (cost, schedule, quality, information, contracts) on multiple project assignments\n· Lead the successful execution of large EPCM projects from initiation through closeout.\n· Manage project scope, budget, schedule, quality, and overall performance.\n· Direct and oversee multiple subcontractors, vendors, and field construction teams.\n· Coordinate activities among engineering, procurement, construction, and operations stakeholders.\n· Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule and budget goals.\n· Lead contract administration, change management, and subcontractor performance evaluations.\n· Develop and maintain project forecasts, risk assessments, and executive status reports.\n· Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements.\n· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.\n· Mentor project team members and promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.\nManages the review and approval process for contractors pay applications and change orders and coordinates with Control Manager for proper posting in reporting program\nAttends assigned meetings to cover weekly job progress meetings; issues meeting minutes during design\nResolves complex construction related issues, disputes, and disagreements.\nWhat Skills/Qualifications You Need:\n· BS in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field or equivalent is required.\n+20 years of construction project management experience, including EPCM or large projects.\nProven experience managing subcontractors and complex project contracts.\nStrong knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.\nExperience with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office Suite preferred.\nCritical Path Method (CPM) scheduling and schedule management.\nContract administration and subcontractor oversight.\nChange management and scope control.\nRisk assessment and mitigation planning.\nExcellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.\nKnowledge of construction safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.\nUSA citizenship is required for security clearance. (No dual citizenship)\nSole USA citizenship is required.\nPreferred Qualifications\n· Person already residing a commutable distance from the SFHP project office near Scoville, ID\nProficiency with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.\nExperience with Power BI, Procore, Bluebeam, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), SAP, or Oracle ERP systems.\nEarned Value Management (EVM) and project performance analytics.\nProcurement and vendor management experience.\nClaims management and dispute resolution experience.\nCommissioning and startup coordination.\nPMP, CCM, PE, or other project management/construction certifications.\nExperience managing projects exceeding $50M in value.\nAdvanced reporting, dashboard development, and executive-level presentations.\nEssential Functions:\nIntermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, and lifting. Lifting requirements are limited to 20 lbs. in the form of supplies, drawings, etc. The longest distance carried 50 feet. Hand manipulation is required for simple grasping, pushing and pulling, and fine manipulation. Right and/or left hands utilized. Occasional need to reach and/or work above the shoulder, for supplies, as well as below the shoulder for same. Occasional need to walk on uneven ground, exposure to dust, gas or fumes, exposure to noise, extremes in temperature or humidity.
