We’re happy to discuss hybrid, part-time and flexible working hours, patterns and locations to suit you and our business.\nAbout the Opportunity\nThe successful candidate will work alongside other ecologists, environmentalists & geoscientists to deliver ecological based appraisals as standalone deliverables or integration into wider site development and planning support work.\nKey Responsibilities:\nContribute to environmental impact assessments and development consent order projects. \nLead on site visits, ecological surveys, marine ecology and meet client project managers. \nLead in the production of screening and scoping reports to support planning applications. \n\nDevelop a reputation within the sector by developing innovative methods of impact assessment for terrestrial, marine, coastal, and ecological impacts. \nDevelop best available techniques for environmental assessments that consider climate resilience, emissions, noise, biodiversity, water discharges, and heritage.\nEssential Criteria:\nExperience in leading or significantly contributing to the preparation of ecological surveys, HRA, and environmental impact assessments for new developments and operational permitting applications. \nQualification background in ecology, zoology, botany, marine sciences or equivalent. \nChartered ecologist, environmentalist, or scientist. \nWe are also willing to consider ecologists who are recent postgraduates. \nOur Culture\nOur values are built on a strong foundation of safety, integrity, and respect for every individual.
