As a key partner within DNWP, TDA contributes to Sellafield Ltd.’s mission while ensuring communities, supply chains, and stakeholders benefit from meaningful, measurable Social Value outcomes.\nThe Decommissioning Alliance (TDA) is seeking a Senior Planning Engineer/Planning Engineer to join the TDA planning team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of an established team working on a large, long-term framework at Sellafield. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic and forward-thinking environment to deliver projects of national importance.\nThe successful candidate will work closely with the Planning Manager, Project Managers, multi-disciplinary project teams, and the Client on a diverse portfolio of challenging projects.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop, update and maintain full lifecycle P50 project schedules in Primavera P6, ensuring accuracy of deliverables and alignment with project objectives and delivery targets.\nUpdate and maintain Programme-level tactical/delivery plans.\nA strong understanding of baseline management and effective implementation of change.\nWork closely with Project Managers to support project forecasting, progress reporting, and scenario planning.\nGenerate resource profiles to support the efficient deployment of project resources across the framework.\nProduce and interpret earned value management (EVM) metrics (including performance analysis and variance reporting), critical path analysis and float erosion outputs.\nEnsure programmes comply with NEC 3/4 contract requirements and utilise CEMAR for contract management activities.\nAttend regular progress meetings to capture schedule updates and to provide clear insight on programme performance and critical path impacts.\nMentoring and development of junior members of the planning team. \nHere's What You'll Need:\nMinimum 4 years’ experience in a project planning role within engineering, construction, or nuclear sectors.\nExperience of working on projects on Sellafield site.\nStrong working knowledge of Primavera P6 and other planning methodologies.\nProficient in creating detailed costed & resourced schedules, progress updates, and performance analytics.\nStrong experience of planning projects on Fixed Price and/or Target Cost NEC Contracts.\nExperience of producing and maintaining risked, P50/P80 underpinning schedules.\nA positive can-do attitude, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail with the ability to work effectively across diverse project teams.\nMust hold appropriate Security Clearance and be able to obtain Sellafield clearance.\nOur Culture\nOur values stand on a foundation of safety, integrity, inclusion and diversity.
