The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of software development experience with a strong background in cloud technologies and database administration.\nWork Schedule:\nM- F 40 hours a week\nEssential Responsibilities:\nCapacity planning.\nSupporting implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems. -Managing IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.\n Providing support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client problems.\nPerforming server and storage capacity management and planning for the most complex and critical systems.\nRecommending and implementing process and tool improvements to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization's change management and configuration management processes and systems\nManaging, monitoring, and administering database system performance and schedule activities.\nPerforming optimization and tuning of data loads and extractions. -Installing and configure database environments and associated storage systems.\nPerforming backups/restores, and archive data.\n Designing, Developing, and Maintaining database applications within the cloud environment for new applications development or the transition of legacy applications to the cloud environment.\nMinimum Requirements:\nExperience interpreting data models and developing database structures; using standard diagramming techniques to design and develop computer data models; and implementing and troubleshooting programming changes and modifications.\n DBA support of SQLServer and Postgres databases\nKnowledge of security requirements for databases, developing, documenting, and implementing backup and recovery procedures. - managing the databases for high availability\nExperience configuring, managing and maintaining the operation of complex relational databases; familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems.\nExperience monitoring critical systems.\nTechnical Knowledge:\nData base management system software - Database management software; Microsoft SQL Server\nundefined\nDevelopment environment software - C#, Microsoft Visual Basic\nClearance Required: TS/SCI w/ Poly\nMinimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Design, or related field (or equivalent experience).\nMinimum Years of Experience: 10\nOther Responsibilities:\nSafety - Amentum enforces a safety culture whereby all employees have the responsibility for continuously developing and maintaining a safe work environment.
