The position provides leadership and coordination rather than direct technical ownership, making it broadly applicable across multiple programs and functional areas.\nMAJOR RESPONSIBILITES:\nLead performance management activities that support strategic and operational goals, ensuring organizational alignment and clarity of expectations.\nEstablish and maintain processes to track performance indicators, analyze trends, and identify opportunities for improvement.\nSupport development and implementation of strategies, plans, and initiatives that enhance mission execution and organizational effectiveness.\nWork collaboratively with engineering, operations, project management, and support organizations to ensure integrated and consistent performance practices.\nProvide guidance on prioritization, resource alignment, and risk awareness to ensure programs and initiatives progress as planned.\nPrepare and deliver performance updates, reports, and briefings to management and stakeholders, communicate challenges, accomplishments, and recommended actions.\nDrive continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies, recommending corrective actions, and facilitating cross-functional problem solving.\nSupport development, review, and maintenance of performance related processes, procedures, and tools.\nFoster a culture of accountability, transparency, and collaboration across organizations.\nMaintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with mission goals and regulatory expectations.\nPerform other performance focused management duties as assigned to support organizational success.\nSupport the WTP Nuclear Safety Quality Culture by emphasizing the values of safety and quality in the performance of work\nAct as Cost Account Manager (CAM) for PENG charging accounts and maintain EVMS responsibilities associated with those accounts\nThis job description is not intended to include every duty, task or instruction for which an employee is responsible. Other tasks may be assigned, based on business needs and the department supervisor’s request.\nREQUIREMENTS/SPECIFICATIONS\nEducation: Bachelor of Science degree in an appropriate engineering discipline or related science from a four-year accredited college or university.\nExperience:\n10 years of professional experience in the field of engineering, operations, or nuclear safety.\n5 years of supervisory/lead experience, in engineering, operations, or nuclear safety within the last 5 years required.\nCandidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills\nCandidate must be proficient in Microsoft application suite (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, Visio, PowerPoint, etc.)\nPreferred Experience:\nNuclear facility experience\nExperience in processing facilities, DOE facilities, or DOD facilities\nExperience with national consensus codes and standards\nProgression to the next grade is based upon complexity of assignment and sustained performance.\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES\nN/A\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\n(EFNM)Exposed Field Non-Manual- Performs desk work, including writing, computer workstation processes, and telephone operation. Arranges for and/or performs presentations, oral reports, planning meetings, and other formal and informal contacts, requiring long periods of sitting. Oversees field activities through inspections, testing and equipment operations, which requires walking, standing, bending, and turning along with wearing of personal protective equipment. Occasional loading, transport, and unloading of tools and/or supplies specific to an activity.\n This position is located at the WTP Site (22 miles north of Richland) and works a 4 x 10 schedule, M-Th, 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.\nMust be authorized to work and remain in the United States without Amentum visa sponsorship now or in the future.\nMust be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check which includes verification of employment and education.\n Must be able to obtain a Department of Energy badge for access to the Hanford Site.
