This work may require consideration of program requirements together with specific variations in or from standardized guidelines.\nBuilding and maintaining a good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines.\nBuilding and maintaining an understanding of the needs of the organization serviced\nUtilizing analytical abilities to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data to establish the facts, and take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines.\nPerforms all other position related duties as assigned or requested.\nMinimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:\nMust be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.\nMust be able to speak, read, write and understand English. \nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nMinimum of three (3) years of material/supply functions, either in the military services or in commercial applications\nKnowledgeable of governing supply systems/programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals or other established guidelines\nAbility to work in GSS-Army\nMust have or be able to obtain licenses/certifications as needed to perform duties.\nMust have a valid and current state driver’s license.\nMust be able to operate a government general-purpose vehicle\nMay be required to obtain and maintain a forklift license\nMust be able to complete paperwork associated with the position as required\nMust be able to work in a fast paced, complex environment\nMust be able to read and understand Technical Manuals, Technical Bulletins, Army Regulations and Department of the Army Pamphlets\nMust possess basic computer skills\nMust have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence.\nMust have an ability to meet physical demands and pass any related medical examination requirements required to perform daily assigned tasks\nPosition may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.\nMay need the ability to obtain and maintain a government Common Access Card (CAC)\nPosition may require travel.\nAbility to work in a team environment\nPreferred Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nExperience working with U.S. Army combat and tactical equipment preferred.\nWork Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:\nMust be able to lift 50 lbs. with or without accommodation.\nMust utilize all proper lifting procedures and practices.\nMust wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)\nMust be able to work at heights.\nMust be able to climb in and out of vehicles of various sizes and heights\nMust be able to work under pressure and strenuous conditions.\nMust be able to meet short suspense dates.\nMust be able to conduct work in the out-of-doors area with potential exposure to extreme climatic conditions (i.e. extreme temperatures, high humidity, rain and blowing dust).\nMust be able to withstand prolonged periods of stooping; climbing; standing; and sitting for long periods of uninterrupted time.\nMay require shift work.\nMay be required to work an uncommon tour of duty including nights, weekends, and holidays.\nDuring the usual work period, the worker may be exposed to sounds and noise levels that are distracting and uncomfortable.\nOther Responsibilities:\nSafety - Amentum enforces a safety culture whereby all employees have the responsibility for continuously developing and maintaining a safe work environment.
