Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.\nEssential Responsibilities:\nProvides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems.\nManages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems. Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.\nProvides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.\nProvides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process.\nConfigures and manages UNIX and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.\nMinimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):\n Needs a good understand of Windows and Linux as an end user\nClearance Required: TS/SCI Poly\nMinimum Education:\nBachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. \nIn lieu of a bachelor's degree, five (5) additional years of work-related experience may be substituted for a total of twelve (20) years.\nMinimum Years of Experience:\nFifteen (15) years’ experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.\nRequired Certifications:\nCompliance with DoD 8570.01-M with a minimum certification of IAT Level II is required.\nOther Responsibilities:\nSafety - Amentum enforces a safety culture whereby all employees have the responsibility for continuously developing and maintaining a safe work environment.
