This position is currently on-site at the Detroit Arsenal. This position is not yet funded, position contingent upon funding award. Other duties may be assigned to support client and contract deliverables.\nJob Duties and Responsibilities:\nProvide professional, non-personal Systems Acquisition Project Officer (SAPO) and Portfolio Analyst support services to the Portfolio Management Executive (PME) Combat Sustainment.\nPerform acquisition advisory, analytical, programmatic, life cycle sustainment, and executive staff coordination support across the Combat Sustainment portfolio, spanning the entire Defense Acquisition System life cycle and all Adaptive Acquisition Framework (AAF) pathways.\nAssist leadership in reviewing and aligning subordinate PMO strategies, plans, and documents with PME strategic intent.\nEvaluate and prepare documentation for programs transitioning between AAF pathways.\nAnalyze dependencies and risks across the portfolio to resolve bottlenecks.\nResearch and analyze emerging acquisition policies and supply chain directives.\nCompile and monitor portfolio-wide health metrics (cost, schedule, EVM, readiness).\nConduct studies on industrial base challenges and develop data-driven Courses of Action.\nMonitor, assign, and track external taskings from higher headquarters using enterprise tools (e.g., TMT).\nFormulate and coordinate staff action packages for executive review.\nFacilitate senior level Integrated Portfolio Teams (IPTs) and working groups.\nCreate high-quality, data-driven executive briefings, quad charts, and decision packages for senior leadership.\nCoordinate with external stakeholders (TACOM, DEVCOM, DLA, Joint partners, OEMs).\nAssist in planning and executing high-level portfolio reviews and strategy sessions.\nSupport government acquisition programs throughout all phases of the acquisition life cycle.\nAssist in development and execution of acquisition strategies and program management plans.\nSupport cost, schedule, and performance management activities.\nAssist government leadership in analyzing acquisition alternatives, trade studies, and programmatic impacts.\nOther duties, as assigned.\nClearance: Applicants are required to hold and maintain a Secret clearance\nRequired Skills and Qualifications:\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Systems Acquisition, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related technical discipline.\nProficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and TEAMs applications.\nExperience: 3-5 years of experience in DoD/Army program management, strategic planning.\nAbility to talk and interact with people proactively.\nCritical thinker.\nProgram Management and project Management awareness.\nAble to move fast and adjust quickly.\nAble to multitask.\nU.S. Citizenship\nSecurity Clearance: Active DoD SECRET clearance.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nKnowledge of Combat Sustainment.\nIn-depth understanding of the Adaptive Acquisition Framework (DoDI 5000.02) and PPBE cycles.\nPrevious FA 51 (Army acquisitions C0rps) experience.\nProficiency in action officer tracking systems (e.g., TMT) and AR 25-50 correspondence standards.\nProven capability to conduct cross-cutting portfolio data evaluations and draft executive decision memorandums.\nExperience: 6-15 years of experience in DoD/Army program management, strategic planning.\nStrong project management and organizational skills.\nAbility to lead cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nFamiliarity with the defense acquisition process, Milestone documentation requirements, and integrated product teams (IPTs).\nAbility to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.\nDetailed-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.\nPrevious experience working in Army acquisitions.\nKnowledge of the CPE/PEO/PM/PAE structure and organizations.\nPrevious Project Management experience.\nCompensation Details:\n$125,000 - $175,000The compensation range or hourly rate listed for this position is provided as a good-faith estimate of what the company intends to offer for this role at the time this posting was issued.
