As NASA’s largest engineering solutions provider working together with NASA at centers across the United States.\nWe have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Administrator III/IV to join our team!\nThe Systems Administrator III/IV will:\nPerform daily maintenance and operations tasks related to system administration in a multi-server environment.\n\nProvide maintenance and performance tuning of the virtual environment utilizing latest versions of various virtualization software, support tools.\n\nOversee patch remediation and software deployment.\n\nEnsure all backup/restore operations are effective.\n\nMaintain and enhance system security across the environment.\n\nMonitor systems and produce required reports to maintain documented service levels.\n\nProvide support for local and shared services (account management, storage arrays, disaster recovery, etc.)\n\nUpdate documentation and maintain configuration control for the environment.\n\nManage multiple projects for improvements to the infrastructure.\n\nPerform physical server installation into the server racks and removal from server racks.\n\nPerform server hard drive replacements.\n\nProvide Active Directory support for user permissions.\n\nComplete server shutdown and power ups during hurricane season or general scheduled power outages.\n\nMake any approved software install requests.\n\nGeneral server and network configuration.\n\nSupport Cloud Migration and Cloud Server and Network Operations.\n\nPerform other duties as required.\n\nRequisition Qualifications:\nThis position has been posted at multiple levels.
