This position supports compute, storage, networking, virtualization, and identity management platforms across a variety of classified environments. The role requires strong technical expertise, collaboration across engineering and cybersecurity teams, and the ability to independently support complex infrastructure projects and operational activities.\nResponsibilities include:\nDesign, implement, administer, and maintain enterprise infrastructure systems including Cisco UCS, Microsoft Active Directory, enterprise storage platforms, Windows Server environments, and network infrastructure.\nSupport the deployment and administration of network solutions including routing, switching, segmentation, and secure communications across multiple classified environments.\nAssist with the development and maintenance of infrastructure standards, engineering best practices, and system documentation.\nParticipate in infrastructure modernization efforts, technology refresh projects, migrations, and lifecycle management activities.\nAdminister enterprise storage platforms and support backup, disaster recovery, replication, and capacity planning initiatives.\nManage enterprise identity and authentication services including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file services.\nPlan and execute system upgrades, firmware updates, patching activities, maintenance actions, and approved changes within production environments.\nTroubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to improve system availability and performance.\nWork closely with cybersecurity personnel to support vulnerability remediation, STIG implementation, system hardening, and compliance requirements.\nEvaluate technologies, tools, and system enhancements and provide recommendations for operational improvements.\nDevelop and maintain technical documentation including procedures, diagrams, system configurations, and operational runbooks.\nProvide technical guidance and mentoring to junior and mid-level engineers.\nSupport planned after-hours maintenance windows and respond to operational incidents as required to maintain system availability.\nWork Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:\nStandard working environment\nMinimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):\n4+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise infrastructure environments including compute, storage, networking, virtualization, and identity management services.\nExperience with Cisco UCS administration, lifecycle management, firmware maintenance, capacity planning, and operational support.\nExperience administering enterprise virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, Hyper-V, Nutanix, or equivalent technologies.\nStrong understanding of enterprise networking concepts including LAN/WAN technologies, routing, switching, network segmentation, and security best practices.\nExperience implementing and supporting infrastructure solutions within complex enterprise environments.\nHands-on experience administering Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, file services, and authentication technologies.\nExperience managing enterprise storage platforms, backup solutions, disaster recovery capabilities, and data protection strategies.\nKnowledge of Windows Server operating systems including patch management, system hardening, performance tuning, and lifecycle management.\nExperience supporting infrastructure maintenance activities including upgrades, migrations, patching, change management, and disaster recovery exercises.\nAbility to lead technical tasks and infrastructure projects while coordinating with engineering teams, stakeholders, and vendors.\nStrong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes and resolve complex technical issues.\nKnowledge of cybersecurity principles including vulnerability remediation, access controls, compliance requirements, and secure infrastructure practices.\nExperience with infrastructure automation and scripting using PowerShell, Python, Ansible, or similar technologies.\nExperience developing and maintaining technical documentation, procedures, diagrams, and operational guides.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.\nSecurity Clearance Required:\nTS / SCI\nMinimum Education:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\nPreferred\nBachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field\nMinimum Years of Experience:\n4+\nRequired Certifications:\nThis is an IAT3 level billet. Applicant must have:\n- Required IAT Certs: one or more of the following: CISM, CISSP, or equivalent senior-level baseline certification\n- Required vendor certification in one or more relevant technologies (e.g., Microsoft, VMware, Cisco, NetApp, Pure Storage, HP, Dell, Linux+, Red Hat, HBSS, ACAS).
