With our deep technical, commercial, and strategic expertise we develop solutions that address our client’s critical challenges supporting digitalisation and security.\nWe are looking for a Systems Engineer with experience of Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) in a Defence or complex engineering environment to support the development of IT and communication systems across the full engineering lifecycle. You will play a key role in shaping complex Defence systems from concept through to design and delivery, ensuring robust, coherent solutions that underpin mission-critical capabilities.\nKey Responsibilities:\nElicit, analyse, and manage stakeholder and system requirements, ensuring traceability across the lifecycle.\n\nDevelop system architectures and design artefacts, including functional, logical, and physical views.\n\nSupport decomposition of requirements from system to subsystem and component levels.\n\nContribute to the development of interface definitions and integration considerations across systems.\n\nCollaborate with architects, developers, and integration teams to ensure coherent and feasible system designs.\n\nSupport verification and validation planning, ensuring requirements are testable and aligned to acceptance criteria.\n\nContribute to systems engineering documentation and governance artefacts in line with MOD and industry standards.\n\nHere's What You'll Need:\nDegree qualified in Systems Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nGood communication skills, able to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\n\nAbility to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams.\n\nExperience working within multi-disciplinary teams on complex programmes.\n\nExperience:\nProven experience as a Systems Engineer within Defence or complex system environments with a strong understanding of systems engineering principles (i.e., MBSE) and lifecycle models (e.g. V-model, Agile, hybrid approaches).\n\nExperience working across the systems engineering lifecycle, with a focus on requirements, architecture, and design phases.\n\nExperience in requirements engineering, including elicitation, analysis, and management.\n\nAbility to develop system architecture artefacts and design documentation, with an understanding of system integration concepts, interfaces, and dependencies.\n\nExperience supporting integration and V&V activities, with an understanding of how designs translate into testable systems.\n\nStandards & Frameworks:\nFamiliarity with systems engineering standards (e.g. ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288).\n\nAwareness of MOD frameworks and governance environments.\n\nUnderstanding of requirements management and modelling tools (e.g. DOORS, SparxEA.\n\nOur Culture:\nOur values stand on a foundation of safety, integrity, inclusion, and diversity.
