We value positive mental health and a sense of belonging for all employees.\nAmentum is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer, please refer to our Enterprise Agreement and www.fairwork.gov.au for more information.\n\nRole Title:\nSystems Specialist Logistics and Systems Engineering Database - AFHQ\nRole Description:\nThe Defence project AIR 6002 will deliver a Future Lead-In Fighter System (FLIFS) inclusive of aircraft, simulators, facilities, ground support equipment, training material and contracted services, and this role is a key element in delivering this capability for Defence.\nThis function will work under limited supervision of the VCDF Task Lead as the Capability Development Document (CDD) developer concerned with the logistics aspects of all FLIFS system elements with the exception of facilities. Additionally, this role will develop and manage the project systems engineering database. They will interact with other project team members, and liaise with subject matter experts (SME) and stakeholders at all levels,. The role is under Air warfare System Project Office (AWSPO) in conjunction with Air Force Head Quarters (AFHQ). The successful candidate can be based out of either RAAF Base Williamtown, near Newcastle or Russell Office, in Canberra.\nEssential Requirements:\nDevelop of high quality, reliable CDD and artefacts, including (but not limited to) a Logistics Management Plan and logistics Function and Performance Specifications (FPS)\nRepresent VCDF at various forums with a wide range of stakeholders, including operators and delivery agents\nDraft ASDEFCON Data Item Descriptions (DID)\nParticipate in commercial activities\nPresent verbal and written reports to committees and boards\nLiaise with the delivery organisation in respect to systems engineering database choice and design\nPeriodically vet and update the systems engineering database content\nProduce systems engineering database output as required by the project\nApplying strategic guidance in delivering a FLIFS\nCompleting logistics artefacts\nPopulating a systems engineering database\nDrafting ASDEFCON DID\nEvaluating and reporting on tenders\nConducting vendor requirements reviews\nDesirable Requirements:\nAnalytical skills (Essential)\nHigh level writing skills\nPresentation skills (Essential)\nExperienced at database usage (Important)\nExperienced in Capability Development (Important)\nExperienced in Defence Acquisition (Important)\nExperienced at aircraft acquisition (Important)\nRequired Security Clearance Level: Active NV1 or higher Clearance required for this position (essential)\nLocation:\n- Work to be undertaken onsite with preferred location being RAAF Base Williamtown.
