The role will also support the Government in the development of new concepts, technologies, and Fleet capabilities.\nTest Engineer Essential Responsibilities:\nPerform multiple roles within an Agile, cross-functional Scrum team, with a primary focus on testing.\nSupport test-driven development (TDD) activities.\nAcquire in-depth domain knowledge and understanding.\nContribute to automated testing at various levels, including exploratory, system, integration, unit, end-to-end, contract, security, and performance testing.\nExecute and analyze test cases.\nDesign effective test cases and test data.\nTest distributed systems that include databases, application servers, and web front ends.\nPerform unit testing using JUnit/Jest and code coverage tools such as JaCoCo.\nUtilize UI testing tools such as Graphene/Selenium.\nUtilize load-testing tools such as JMeter.\nUtilize dynamic security testing tools such as Burp Suite and JavaScript.\nApply Agile software development methodologies and DevSecOps technologies.\nPerform software engineering activities, including analysis, requirements, design, code, and testing.\nUtilize collaborative tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, and Confluence.\nApply knowledge of DevSecOps technologies, including Docker containerized microservices, Red Hat OpenShift, and Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.\nUnderstand and solve technical problems.\nWork effectively as a member of a dynamic, self-organizing team.\nWork directly with program stakeholders, including sponsors, end users, and contractors.\nDemonstrate a willingness to learn and grow.\nPerform other position-related duties as assigned or requested.\nMinimum Requirements:\nBachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline; or five years of demonstrated and established knowledge and subject-matter testing expertise in lieu of the degree.\nFive years of experience with nuclear operations, nuclear command and control principles, strategic weapons, nuclear planning, and national-level command and control programs.\nFive years of software engineering experience in a real-time software-intensive Weapon System, Command System, or Intelligence System, including software requirements definition activities.\nThree years of specialized experience in:Software engineering requirements analysis.\nDesign tradeoff studies.\nStructured requirements analysis methodologies for real-time software-intensive weapon systems.\nSpecification development on weapon systems using tools such as Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System (DOORS).\nSoftware requirements definition, engineering analysis, or software specification development.\n\nMust be able to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance.
