The SME will provide specialist advice across verification and validation planning, Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP) development, capability acceptance, trials planning, risk reduction activities and evidence-based capability assessment.\nRole:\nIdentify verification, validation and acceptance requirements applicable to the LAND 6504 capability solution.\nCollect and analyse capability requirements, operational performance measures, architecture products and technical information required to support T&E planning activities.\nSupport T&E activities with key Defence, Industry, OEM, FMS and operational stakeholders.\nSupport Develop and maintain the Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP).\nSupport Develop Verification Cross Reference Matrices (VCRM) and verification strategies to demonstrate compliance against capability and system requirements.\nDefine capability acceptance criteria, measures of effectiveness and measures of performance.\nDevelop test concepts, test plans and verification methodologies supporting capability assessment activities.\nConduct risk and opportunity analysis associated with testing, verification activities, trials, evaluation events and capability acceptance.\nSupport development of acceptance frameworks and evidence collection strategies required for certification and capability approval activities.\nAssess test environments, simulation requirements and modelling support required to validate capability performance.\nIdentify verification, validation and test risks and recommend mitigation strategies to support capability acceptance and acquisition outcomes.\nSupport development of technical evidence, assessment reports and T&E recommendations required for Combined Pass activities.\nLAND 6504 Test and Evaluation Master Plan or Strategy developed and maintained.\nVerification, validation and acceptance requirements identified and assessed.\nBaseline Test and Evaluation data established to support capability development and acquisition activities.\nVerification Cross Reference Matrix established and maintained.\nCapability acceptance criteria and verification methods defined.\nCapability performance requirements assessed against operational scenarios and mission objectives.\nTest plans, evaluation methodologies and evidence collection approaches decisions.\nTechnical evidence developed to support Combined Pass submissions and future capability acceptance activities.\nDependencies\nAvailability of Operational Concept Document (OCD), Functional Performance Specification (FPS) and Requirements Register.\nAvailability of SS&CP and CSMP.\nLAND 6504 capability solution and system requirements identified and available for assessment. .\nAvailability of system architecture, integration and interface information.\nAccess to OEM, Industry and FMS technical data.\nAvailability of stakeholder inputs from Capability Managers, Army HQ, operational users and engineering teams.\nAvailability of modelling, simulation and systems engineering assessment outputs.\nConstraints\nAbility to obtain technical and operational data within reasonable timeframes from Defence and Industry stakeholders.\nAvailability and maturity of system requirements and architecture information.\nAvailability of suitable test environments, facilities and representative operational scenarios.\nAvailability of stakeholder participation in verification and validation activities.\nEvolving capability requirements and design maturity during the assessment period.\nCombined Pass schedules and project milestones may constrain T&E planning activities.\nRisk\nCapability requirements may change over time resulting in updates to verification and acceptance activities.\nTechnical data may not be available or accurate, impacting test planning and evaluation outcomes.\nSystem architectures and interfaces may not be sufficiently mature to support detailed verification planning.\nTest environments or representative operational conditions may not be available when required.\nVerification methods may require refinement as capability designs
