Carries out all duties in accordance with USAFE GPMS mandatory requirements. Ensures compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Amentum’s Quality Management System (QMS).\nEssential Responsibilities:\nEnsures reconstitution, preservation and inspection goals are attained.\n\nPrioritizes work according to goals and schedules.\n\nInitiates and submits an annual budget, monitors, and controls expenditures.\n\nEnsures Limited Technical Inspections are performed within prescribed guidelines.\n\nSupervises the inspection and prep of USAFE GPMS vehicle assets for air/land/sea movement.\n\nProvides over all supervision of shop foremen, assigned auto mechanics, electricians maintenance controllers, and material controllers.\n\nEnsures safety practices and housekeeping standards are maintained to the highest standard.\n\nEnsures that all tools and equipment are serviceable, accounted for and secured.\n\nStores and disposes of all hazardous materials in accordance with Amentum Standard Operating\n\nProcedures (SOPs).\nResponsible for the quality of parts research and ensures that only required repair parts are requested to include the local availability of parts and services.\n\nOversees Time Compliance Technical Order (TCTO) actions and service bulletins to ensure completion within prescribed guidelines.\n\nEnsures correct and expeditious completion of work orders.\n\nUtilizes the management reports from DPAS to effectively manage the USAFE GPMS fleet.\n\nEnsures that complete inspections are performed on all completed vehicle repairs to ensure a quality product is delivered to the customer.\n\nEnsures all unused serviceable repair parts are returned to the supply facility and removed XF3 parts are turned back over to supply to clear the DIFM Account.\n\nVerifies all Vehicle Down for Parts (VDP) decisions and monitors all cannibalization requirements.\n\nResponsible for the supervision of vehicle maintenance staff\n\nEnsures the Vehicle Technical Order Library is current and up-to-date.\n\nResponsible for the recording of any changes in fleet status on the DVR and DPAS.\n\nEnsures all taskings are accomplished on time or provides updated status on exceptions.\n\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\n\nMinimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:\nMust be proficient in the use of personal computers and Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office to include as a minimum Power Point, Excel and Word programs.\n\nMust be capable of operating and and repairing light to heavy military and commercial type vehicles.\n\nMust have working knowledge of diagnostic computer programs such as Cummins INSITE, CAT, OBD scanners\n\nWill have good organizational and communication skills, particularly in dealings with subordinates.\n\nFamiliarity with AFI24-302 and TO36-1-191 is preferred.\n\nFamiliarity with DPAS,TRT,LIMS-EV is desired.\n\nMust possess a valid home country driver’s license and ability to obtain host nation driver’s license.\n\nMay be required to operate material handling equipment.\n\nSix years military experience as a general purpose or heavy equipment mechanic required.\n\nFour years’ experience in a supervisory capacity preferred.\n\nMust be able to obtain and maintain a US Secret Security Clearance.\n\nMust be able to obtain/maintain a Common Access Card (CAC)\n\nMust be authorized to work in host country.\n\nWork Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:\nWorks in maintenance shop or warehouse environment and may be required to work outdoors for extended periods.\n\nMay be exposed to extreme noise from operating equipment.\n\nWill be required to wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) according to prescribed procedures and as required for task being performed.\n\nPhysically capable of performing all required duties; capable of lifting/pushing/pulling minimum of 50 lbs. and performing extensive work handling/lifting equipment.\n\nMust be able to travel domestically and internationally.\n\nOther Responsibilities:\nSafety - Amentum enforces a safety culture whereby all employees have the responsibility for continuously developing and maintaining a safe work environment.
