The WIDS Specialist Level I, under senior WIDS personnel, assists in administering the Bastille WIDS platform, Monitoring & Response (M&R) activities, analyzing wireless threats, and supporting activities ensuring compliance with DoD and IC requirements. The WIDS Specialist Level I should have some understanding of the Bastille WIDS system, DoD/IC wireless protocols, RF theory, and knowledge of National and DoD directives, orders, regulations, and instructions governing the conduct of WIDS activities. Because the WIDS Specialist Level I role will work on a geographically separated team, excellent coordination and communication skills are expected. This position is contingent upon award of contract, business needs, security clearance verification, and funding availability.\nWork Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm.\nEssential Responsibilities:\nSupport day-to-day WIDS operations using the Bastille platform.\nMonitor wireless environments and assist in identifying unauthorized RF activity.\nAssist with M&R activities and incident reporting.\nOperate wireless monitoring and direction-finding equipment under the guidance of senior personnel.\nMaintain operational documentation, logs, and reporting records.\nCoordinate with WIDS Specialists and engineering teams to support system operations.\nFollow established operating procedures and security requirements.\nSupport system deployments, testing, and operational readiness activities.\nWork Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands: Office Setting, but may be required to install sensors and wiring, which requires climbing ladders and lifting up to 20 lbs.\nMinimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):\nBaseline knowledge of RF theory and wireless protocols.\nFamiliarity with wireless security monitoring or TSCM concepts.\nStrong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to learn WIDS technologies, monitoring procedures, and security policies.\nAbility to work effectively in a team environment.\nAbility to travel worldwide.\nSecurity Clearance Required: TS/SCI w/ Poly\nMinimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree\nMinimum Years of Experience:\nBachelor's Degree with 1 year of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nExperience supporting technical security, wireless monitoring, or related operational environments is preferred.\nOther Responsibilities:\nSafety - Amentum enforces a safety culture whereby all employees are responsible for continuously developing and maintaining a safe work environment.
