The WIDS Specialist Level II is responsible for administering the Bastille WIDS platform, leading Monitoring & Response (M&R) activities, analyzing wireless threats, and ensuring compliance with DoD and IC requirements. As such, the WIDS Specialist Level II will need an understanding of the Bastille WIDS system, DoD/IC wireless protocols, RF theory, and knowledge of National and DoD directives, orders, regulations, and instructions governing the conduct of WIDS activities. Because the WIDS Specialist Level II role will work on a geographically separated team, excellent coordination and communication skills are expected. This position is contingent upon award of contract, business needs, security clearance verification, and funding availability.\nWork Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm.\nEssential Responsibilities:\nMonitor WIDS environments using the Bastille platform to detect unauthorized wireless activity.\n\nAnalyze RF-based threats and recommend appropriate mitigation and response actions.\n\nSupport M&R activities and wireless incident investigations.\n\nGenerate site-level operational reports, metrics, and incident summaries.\n\nMaintain WIDS documentation, operating procedures, and reporting templates.\n\nCoordinate with Government stakeholders and engineering teams to resolve wireless security issues.\n\nOperate wireless monitoring and direction-finding equipment in support of security operations.\n\nEnsure compliance with applicable DoD and IC policies and procedures.\n\nWork Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands: Office Setting, but may be required to install sensors and wiring, which requires climbing ladders and lifting up to 20 lbs.\nMinimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):\nExperience operating and administering the Bastille WIDS platform.\n\nKnowledge of wireless protocols, RF theory, and wireless threat detection.\n\nExperience supporting M&R and wireless security operations.\n\nAbility to analyze security events and prepare technical reports and documentation.\n\nStrong written, verbal, and analytical communication skills.\n\nAbility to travel worldwide.\n\nSecurity Clearance Required:\nTS/SCI with Poly\n\nMinimum Education:\nBachelor’s Degree\n\nMinimum Years of Experience:\nBachelor's Degree with 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n\nExperience supporting WIDS operations within DoD and/or IC environments.\n\nExperience with RF monitoring, wireless security operations, and incident reporting\n\nThis position is not designated as a safety-sensitive position.\nAs part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment, Amentum is a drug-free workplace and requires all personnel to comply with company drug and alcohol policies as a condition of employment.
