The Energy Center is a highly efficient, low-cost, sustainable source of electricity for Ameren Missouri’s 1.2 million customers.\nOur benefits include:\nMedical coverage on date of hire\n\n100% employer paid cash balance pension plan\n\n401(k) with company match fully vested on date of hire\n\nMinimum of 15 days paid vacation and 12 paid holidays\n\nPaid parental leave and family caregiver leave\n\nVisit our Benefits & Perks Page for more information on benefits provided to regular full-time employees.\nAbout The Position\nThe SupervisorInstrument & Controldirects the work of skilled personnel in work tasks and/or support activities for the maintenance, replacement, installation and removal of equipment in the power plant and associated structures to assure safe, reliable, and uninterrupted operation.\nKey responsibilities include:\nResponsible for the calibration, testing and corrective maintenance of instruments and controls at the Callaway Energy Center\n\nSupervise the activities if I&C technicians or assign technicians to work as directed by plant engineers or other specified personnel during normal and outage operations.\n\nControl measuring and test equipment at Callaway Energy Center as described in section 12 of the Callaway Energy Center Operating Quality Assurance Manual (OQAM).\n\nSupervise maintenance personnel in performance of predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance and related surveillance testing.\n\nPerform the planning, scheduling and assignment of work, and/or assist Planning & Scheduling department supervisors in work scheduling and coordination.\n\nEnsure safe and efficient use of manpower and resources, promoting high standards of workmanship, maintaining high level of equipment reliability and training of personnel in proper work practices.\n\nEnsure work activities are performed in accordance with applicable procedures and policies in an efficient manner.\n\nEnsure documentation of completed work activities is complete and accurate.\n\nPerform special studies and projects as assigned by Maintenance Department management.\n\nAssume Emergency Response Organization (ERO) duties in accordance with Callaway Energy Center Radiological Emergency Response Plan (RERP) including responding to assigned ERO facilities within the required response time.\n\nQualifications\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required. BachelorsDegree in Electrical Engineering with emphasis in instrumentation from an accredited institution preferred. Five or more years experiencein Instrumentation and Controls required. Nuclear power plant Operations or I&C experience preferred. Experience as a Training Instructor preferred.\nIn addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate:\nGood decision making, leadership, communication and human relations skills required. After preliminary review, selected applicants must take the First Line Supervisor Test and obtain a recommended status in order to be eligible for additional selection procedures (e.g., interview) designated for this position. Qualified candidates are required to establish and maintain their permanent residence within sixty highway miles of the Callaway Energy Center. Security screening required for Callaway Energy Center access.\nWorking Conditions\nThe Maintenance Supervisor works a standard day or evening shift in an office/plant environment. Additional hours, calloutsand/or rotating shifts may be required during refueling outages and emergent plant activities as the needs arise.\nAdditional Information\nAmeren’s selection process includes a series of interviews and may include a leadership assessment process. Specific details will be provided to qualified candidates.\nCompensation Range:\n$105,100.00 - $162,900.00At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered.
