Together, we help execute a strategy that enables Ameren to deliver superior long-term value to customers, shareholders and the environment.\nOur benefits include:\nMedical coverage on date of hire\n\n100% employer paid cash balance pension plan\n\n401(k) with company match fully vested on date of hire\n\nMinimum of 15 days paid vacation and 12 paid holidays\n\nPaid parental leave and family caregiver leave\n\nVisit our Benefits & Perks Page for more information on benefits provided to regular full-time employees.\nKey responsibilities include:\nResponsible for project design review to ensure consistency with Facilities Management and Construction (FM&C) design standards and requirements.\nImplement design improvements to enhance system efficiency and reduce operational costs.\nDiagnose and resolve electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.\nPerform field inspections, monitor operation, provide preventive maintenance recommendations, and provide information to optimize maintenance activities on assigned equipment.\nWork closely with other engineers, architects, project managers, and facility managers to coordinate electrical system installations and upgrades.\nVerify scope of new electrical systems is archived and oversees commissioning and equipment turnover to facility managers.\nMaintain accurate documentation of electrical system designs, maintenance schedules, and repair records.\nLead certain electrical engineering projects from conception to completion. Develop engineering solutions, cost, and schedule estimates associated with small projects. Upon project authorization, perform detailed scoping and work with contractors or internal labor to replace or improve commercial equipment.\nProvide engineering assistance to FM&C critical facilities and Operating Centers within the company on activities requiring experience and expertise with electrical systems.\nManage building controls systems to improve equipment efficiencies and troubleshoot electrical systems. Look for opportunities within the control system to help perform condition-based maintenance and eliminate equipment failures.\nInterface with industry contacts and outside corporations, including consultants, contractors, and their employees.\nQualifications:\nBachelor of Science Degree in Engineering (BSE - Electrical) from an ABET accredited institution required. PE License preferred. Five or more years of relevant engineering experience required. Experience working in facilities or commercial electrical infrastructure design preferred. Building Automation System and/or programmable logic control experience will be considered a plus for potential job candidates.\n*Technical career path level depends upon applicant’s credentials.\nIn addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate:\nMust possess excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills must be highly adaptable to a changing industry and willing to learn new skills as required, Must be able or willing to learn how to configure and program industrial control systems, Must have or be willing to acquire a working knowledge of industrial networking. Specific details will be provided to qualified candidates.\nCompensation Range:\n$88,500.00 - $172,200.00* This pay range encompasses multiple levels of the role. Career level and compensation depends upon applicant’s credentials.\nAt Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise.
