We deliver safe, reliable energy to more than 1,200 communities.\nOur benefits include:\nMedical coverage on date of hire\n\n100% employer paid cash balance pension plan\n\n401(k) with company match fully vested on date of hire\n\nMinimum of 15 days paid vacation and 12 paid holidays\n\nPaid parental leave and family caregiver leave\n\nVisit our Benefits and Perks Page for more information on benefits provided to regular full-time employees.\nAbout The Position\nThe Superintendent, Illinois Fleet Operations, is responsible for managing all aspects of the Fleet Maintenance activities in Illinois which includes safety, operations, maintenance, repair, and reporting.\nKey responsibilities include:\nDirect all repair and maintenance activities for approximately 3300 units in both in-house and vendor areas.\nDirect all employee safety and training activities to continually enhance the safety culture.\nEnsure all Fleet Maintenance records and information required for external regulatory purposes and internal needs are accurately maintained and available.\nMaintain and develop improvements within EMPRV for maintenance activities which include Sarbanes Oxley and Security requests and various department reporting.\nResponsible for the hiring and on-boarding of new Fleet Services co-workers. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Ten or more years of relevant (e.g., Fleet Maintenance) experience required. Four or more years of supervisory experience, preferably in Fleet Maintenance, also required. In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate: This position works a standard day shift in an office, as well as, field environment. Extended works hours, especially with accident reporting or assisting with storm restoration efforts is required. Travel throughout the Ameren Illinois service territories is required. This position will also have call-duty responsibility. Proven ability to manage an engaged workforce preferably in a large geographical area with limited supervision. Thorough knowledge of software applications such as EMPRV, Microsoft Office Suite, PeopleSoft, TRIS is required. ASE certification preferred. Additional Information Ameren’s selection process includes a series of interviews and may include candidate testing and/or an individual aptitude or skill-based assessment. Specific details will be provided to qualified candidates. * Salary dependent upon individual credentials and position market pay level.\nCompensation Range:\n$113,600.00 - $176,100.00At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered.
