This position will work from an office in Knoxville, Tennessee reporting to a Sr. Project Manager.\nResponsibilities:\nAssist with customers and project site visits to collect facility, equipment, utility, and operational data. \nGather, organize, and analyze energy and performance data to support project development activities. \nPerform quantity takeoffs and assist with developing preliminary project cost estimates. \nSupport the identification and evaluation of energy efficiency, renewable energy, and infrastructure improvement opportunities. \nPrepare draft technical narratives, engineering reports, project summaries, and proposal content for review by senior engineers. \nTrack project submittals, requests for information (RFIs), action items, and engineering deliverables. \nAssist with maintaining project documentation, schedules, meeting notes, and project status reports. \nSupport the preparation of scopes of work, equipment specifications, and design documentation. \nCoordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and customers to support project execution and schedules. \nProvide field support during construction, commissioning, startup, and project implementation activities. \nAssist with quality control reviews, project closeout documentation, and measurement and verification (M&V) activities. \nBuild technical knowledge of energy efficiency, renewable energy, controls, and infrastructure systems while supporting all phases of project delivery.\nMaintain positive working relationships with internal teams, customers, and project partners. \nPerform other duties as assigned.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline from an accredited college or university. \nUp to (2) years of engineering, internship, co-op, research, construction, facilities, or project support experience. \nAbility to review confidential U.S. security information as required. \nAdditional Qualifications:\nInternship, co-op, academic project, or professional experience related to energy efficiency, renewable energy, HVAC systems, electrical systems, construction, facilities engineering, or project development. \nBasic understanding of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, controls, building systems, or renewable energy technologies. \nFamiliarity with engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documentation. \nExperience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. \nExposure to AutoCAD, energy modeling software, solar PV modeling tools, or other engineering software through coursework or internships. \nStrong written and verbal communication skills. \nAbility to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. \nInterest in pursuing Engineer-in-Training (EIT), Certified Energy Manager (CEM), or similar professional credentials. \nExperience organizing and analyzing technical or financial data.\nStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. \nAbility to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. \nWillingness to travel to customer and project sites as needed. \nValid driver's license in good standing.\nAmeresco challenges the brightest, most talented, and creative individuals in the industry by providing an environment that fosters initiative and achievement.
