Our comprehensive portfolio is built to address the challenges of today and adapt the future, ensuring long-term sustainability and success for our customers.\nAmeresco is seeking a dynamic Construction Program Manager to lead federal renewable energy projects in the upper Mid-Western U.S., priority will be given to candidates based in Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, or Michigan. Join us in driving sustainable innovation and managing high-impact construction teams that shape the future of clean energy.\nResponsibilities:\nProvide oversite and leadership for administrative and technical management of construction projects delivering energy savings for government customers.\n\nPartner with Engineering and Construction Team in project design and development including scope, subcontractor selection, cost estimation, installation, project scheduling, commissioning, start up, operations and maintenance.\n\nAssure that for all assigned projects, our engineering, pre-construction and construction teams coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to assure competitive cost, best schedule and delivery for all project-related equipment, supply installations, and construction services.\n\nAssure that specific internal Project Management teams adequately manage vendors and subcontractors to ensure safety, quality control and project delivery on time and within budget, while meeting or exceeding customer expectations.\n\nProvide ongoing project status updates to senior management throughout development and construction.\n\nEvaluate technologies and equipment; recommend most suitable for each application.\n\nLead project implementation of site safety and health program, quality control program, operations and maintenance manuals, and training activities.\n\nProvide project reports, documentation, technical assistance, support, and collaboration. Support business unit financial reporting initiatives.\n\nManage project teams and resources, including expenditures and job cost accounting processes for accuracy, documentation, approvals, payment reporting, and tracking.\n\nEnsure compliance with company, industry, trade, and jurisdictional safety standards, practices, codes.\n\nFoster positive and effective business relationships at all levels and project phases.\n\nSupport internal business development initiatives.\n\nPerform other duties as required.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.\n\nMinimum of seven (7) years in construction management with at least (5) years working on federal projects that include industrial power, electrical/solar, mechanical, or engineering construction project management experience focusing on complex facility infrastructure construction, renovations, retrofits, upgrades, building controls and automation, and energy services.\n\nAdditional Qualifications:\nExperience with several of the following energy efficiency disciplines - direct digital energy controls systems, variable frequency drives, high efficiency motors, central plant chiller and boiler installations, lighting retrofits, renewable energy technology, warranty and service requirements is preferred.\n\nProven experience with OSHA safety standards, mechanical and electrical systems development, engineering, and project management regulations, practices, and codes.\n\nDemonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple staff, multiple priorities and foster positive business relationships.\n\nStrong verbal, written, computer, technical communication and presentation skills.\n\nProficient computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Project.\n\nAbility to review confidential US Security Information.\n\nValid Drivers’ License in good standing, issued by resident state.\n\nThe anticipated base salary range for this role is $121,000 - $176,000 (presented in good faith). In addition to base pay, employees receive a comprehensive benefits package, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off, and may be eligible for performance incentives, bonuses, commissions, or equity, depending on the role.\nActual pay will depend on factors such as internal equity, skills, experience, education, certifications, and location.
