This position will work from an office in Birmingham, Alabama reporting to a Sr. Project Manager.\nResponsibilities:\nProvide daily administrative and technical on-site management of construction projects delivering energy savings for public, institutional, industrial, government, and commercial customers.\nAssist Engineering and Construction Teams in project design and development including scope, subcontractor selection, cost estimation, installation, and project scheduling.\nCoordinate with vendors and subcontractors to assure competitive cost, best schedule and delivery for all project-related equipment, supply installations, and construction services.\nManage vendors and subcontractors to ensure quality control and project delivery on time and within budget, while meeting or exceeding customer expectations.\nProvide ongoing project status updates with all parties throughout design and construction.\nEvaluate technologies and equipment; recommend most suitable for each application.\nProvide project reports, documentation, technical assistance, support, and collaboration.\nManage project expenditures and job cost accounting processes: including accuracy, documentation, approvals, payment reporting, and tracking.\nEnsure compliance with company, industry, trade, federal, and jurisdictional safety standards, practices, codes.\nFoster positive and effective business relationships at all levels and project phases.\nPerform other duties as required.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nMinimum 5 years electrical, mechanical, engineering, or industrial power construction project management \nExperience focusing on complex facility infrastructure construction, renovations, retrofits, upgrades, building controls and automation, and energy services.\nAdditional Qualifications:\nDemonstrated work experience with several of the following energy efficiency disciplines - direct digital energy controls systems, variable frequency drives, high efficiency motors, central plant chiller and boiler installations, lighting retrofits, renewable energy technology, warranty and service requirements preferred.\nProven experience with OSHA safety standards, mechanical and electrical systems development, engineering, and project management regulations, practices, and codes.\nDemonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and foster positive business relationships.\nStrong verbal, written, computer, technical communication, and presentation skills.\nProficient computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Project, AutoCAD.\nAbility to review confidential U.S. security information as required.\nValid Drivers’ License in good standing, issued by resident state.\nAmeresco challenges the brightest, most talented, and creative individuals in the industry by providing an environment that fosters initiative and achievement.
