Our comprehensive portfolio is built to address the challenges of today and adapt the future, ensuring long-term sustainability and success for our customers.\nAmeresco is seeking an experienced Construction Quality Control Manager to lead quality assurance efforts on federal construction projects, specifically those governed by U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and NAVFAC standards. This role requires deep expertise in the Three-Phase Quality Control System, federal safety and environmental regulations, and hands-on experience managing quality for complex vertical and horizontal construction efforts.\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop, implement, and manage the USACE-approved Quality Control Plan (QCP).\n\nLead and document the Three-Phase QC process: Preparatory, Initial, and Follow-up.\n\nConduct daily inspections and maintain Daily Quality Control Reports (DQCRs).\n\nManage submittals, RFIs, deficiency tracking, and corrective actions.\n\nCoordinate with USACE/NAVFAC representatives, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure compliance with contract specifications and quality standards.\n\nOperate project management software (e.g., RMS/QCS, Procore) for documentation, reporting, and progress tracking.\n\nInitiate, facilitate and document preparatory meetings and initial inspections for each Definable Feature of Work (DFOW).\n\nEnsure all materials, workmanship, and construction activities meet contract requirements and applicable codes.\n\nSupport safety and environmental compliance in collaboration with the Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO).\n\nParticipate in progress meetings and provide quality-related updates to stakeholders.\n\nEnsure timely and accurate submission of weekly reports and monthly progress documentation.\n\nPerform other duties as required.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n\nMinimum 5 years of experience in construction quality control, with at least 3 years on Federal projects.\n\nAbility to review confidential US security information.\n\nAdditional Qualifications:\nUSACE/NAVFAC QC/QA certification.\n\n30-Hour OSHA/EM 385 certification.\n\nCPR/First Aid certified.\n\nProficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and submittals.\n\nExperience using RMS, Procore, and construction scheduling software.\n\nExcellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.\n\nValid Driver’s License and ability to pass a security clearance investigation.\n\nMay require on-call response and travel.\n\nThe anticipated base salary range for this role is $92,000-$134,000 (presented in good faith). In addition to base pay, employees receive a comprehensive benefits package, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off, and may be eligible for performance incentives, bonuses, commissions, or equity, depending on the role.\nActual pay will depend on factors such as internal equity, skills, experience, education, certifications, and location.
