Our comprehensive portfolio is built to address the challenges of today and adapt the future, ensuring long-term sustainability and success for our customers.\nAmeresco has an immediate opening for a Measurement and Verification Engineer to provide technical expertise and ensure delivery of energy, water, and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) savings for energy savings performance contracts (ESPC) on federal projects throughout the United States.\nResponsibilities:\nGather site information including utility data, energy management system (EMS) trend data, project site logs, and field service reports.\nAnalyze and evaluate data to verify savings using spreadsheet-based energy calculation programs.\nDevelop, produce, and distribute monthly, quarterly and annual Measurement & Verification reports.\nSchedule and perform M&V on-site inspections, report presentations, and customer training.\nReview ESPC contracts to ensure understanding and compliance of company M&V obligations.\nAs required, coordinate assistance with Operations & Maintenance staff and service contractors. \nAssist project development teams in creating M&V protocols for new projects.\nCultivate and foster customer relationships.\nPerform other duties as required.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBSME or equivalent four-year technical engineering degree plus minimum two years’ experience performing measurement and verification or energy related reporting.\nTravel required.\nValid Drivers’ License issued by state of residence and in good standing.\nAdditional Preferred Qualifications:\nAbility to analyze and quantify energy savings in projects involving chiller and boiler plants, motors, compressors, VSDs, HVAC retrofit, controls, and distributed generation.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (macro required), Microsoft Access, Visual Basic, and MS Office.\nExcellent verbal, written and computer communication and presentation skills.\nUnderstanding of engineering principles associated with the analysis of energy-savings measures.\nKnowledge of IPMVP and FEMP standards a plus\nU.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required.\nEnergy Management Controls experience is a plus\nMay be required to pass security clearance investigation.\nThe anticipated base salary range for this role is $88,900 - $128,750 (presented in good faith). In addition to base pay, employees receive a comprehensive benefits package, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off, and may be eligible for performance incentives, bonuses, commissions, or equity, depending on the role.\nActual pay will depend on factors such as internal equity, skills, experience, education, certifications, and location.
