Our first of kind systems produce commercial-scale battery materials that are sold into the battery manufacturing supply chain.\nAmerican Battery Technology Company (ABTC) is seeking a motivated, hands-on Electrical Construction Technician to join its Construction Self-Perform Team. The technician will perform electrical installations, modifications, troubleshooting, and equipment support across ABTC facilities and construction projects. Instrumentation and controls (I&C) experience is highly desirable but not required.\nThis role is ideal for a resourceful individual who enjoys fieldwork, solving technical challenges, and contributing directly to industrial facility construction, expansion, and improvement. The technician must be willing to support mechanical installations, equipment modifications, general construction, and other self-perform activities as needed and within their qualifications. The ideal candidate is someone who takes ownership, is comfortable working with tools, and gets the job done safely and correctly.\nRequirements\n3-5 years of hands-on electrical experience in industrial, manufacturing, commercial construction, or related environments. \nAbility to read electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, control schematics, P&IDs, and PFDs. \nExperience installing conduit, wiring, and electrical equipment. \nFamiliarity with electrical troubleshooting, test instruments, and safe work practices. \nWorking knowledge of applicable electrical codes and installation standards. \nAbility to use electrical hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment. \nStrong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn additional trades. \nAbility to work independently and with multidisciplinary teams. \nAbility to follow lockout/tagout (LOTO), safety procedures, and company standards. \nWillingness to work flexible schedules \nElectrical licenses or registrations are a plus\nPreferred Qualifications\nIndustrial instrumentation and controls (I&C) experience. \nExperience with PLCs, VFDs, MCCs, motor controls, and automation. \nFamiliarity with industrial electrical systems up to 480 VAC. \nInstrument calibration, loop checks, and commissioning experience. \nExperience in process plants, chemical processing, mining, battery manufacturing, or recycling. \nExperience supporting mechanical installations, piping, or equipment fabrication. \nFamiliarity with NEC, NFPA 70E, and OSHA requirements. \nTrade school, apprenticeship, or relevant technical certification. \nBenefits\nCompetitive salary \nCompany-sponsored health, dental, vision, and life insurance \nParental Leave\nCompany-sponsored Employee Assistance Program \nStock options \n401(K) \nFlexible paid time off \nExpected Pay Range\n$25/hr - $50/hr\nCompensation for this position may vary based on a number of individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
