Our first of kind systems produce commercial-scale battery materials that are sold into the battery manufacturing supply chain.\nWe're looking for a Junior Accountant to join our growing Accounting and Finance team. The Junior Accountant supports the accounting and finance team by performing day-to-day accounting activities, assisting with month-end close, maintaining financial records, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data. This role is ideal for an early-career accounting professional seeking exposure to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nRequirements\nPrepare and record journal entries. \nAssist with monthly account reconciliations and balance sheet analyses. \nSupport month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities. \nMaintain supporting schedules and accounting documentation. \nResearch and resolve accounting discrepancies. \nSupport for Accounts Receivable & Payable. \nReview employee expense reports for accuracy and compliance with company policies. \nSupport fixed asset inventories and asset verification procedures. \nAssist with depreciation reporting and reconciliations. \nPrepare audit schedules and supporting documentation. \nAssist with external audit requests. \nFollow company accounting policies and internal controls. \nSupport compliance with U.S. GAAP and company procedures. \nSupport ERP system data maintenance and reporting activities. \nMaintain accounting files and records. \nParticipate in special projects and department initiatives as assigned. \nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. \n0-2 years of accounting experience. \nBasic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements. \nProficiency in Microsoft Excel. \nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills. \nStrong verbal and written communication skills. \nPreferred Qualifications\nInternship or prior accounting experience in manufacturing or industrial environments. \nExperience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Dynamics. \nKnowledge of inventory and manufacturing accounting concepts. \nBenefits\nCompetitive salary \nCompany-sponsored health, dental, vision, and life insurance \nParental Leave\nCompany-sponsored Employee Assistance Program \nStock options \n401(K) \nFlexible paid time off \nExpected Pay Range\n$65k - $105k per year.\nCompensation for this position may vary based on a number of individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
