Description:\n Oversee PaintCare operations within an assigned region consisting primarily of western and central New York\n Conduct regular in-person visits to paint retailers, reuse stores, local government HHW programs, and solid waste facilities\n Establish relationships with participating paint retail stores, local government partners, and other stakeholders\n Troubleshoot program issues and ensure stakeholder satisfaction\n Ensure drop-off sites comply with contracts and site guidelines\n Educate paint retailers on paint stewardship law obligations\n Identify and recruit potential paint drop-off sites\n Explain drop-off site requirements and evaluate prospective partners\n Oversee onboarding of new drop-off sites, including contracting, on-site training, and coordinating collection and transportation\n Determine underserved areas and facilitate collection and paint giveaway events\n Process large-volume pickup requests\n Order and distribute signage, point-of-sale materials, and outreach materials\n Monitor use of materials by drop-off sites\n Connect the public with paint reuse and recycling opportunities\n Participate in community events and make presentations to groups\n Attend stakeholder meetings and conferences\n Provide regional insight to the internal communications team\n Maintain the drop-off site database and generate reports\n Ensure records are accurate for the annual report\n Review and approve invoices related to program operations\n Report to the program manager\nRequirements:\n Experience with and/or knowledge of product stewardship programs, laws, and organizations\n Experience with and/or knowledge of hazardous waste programs, services, and handling, especially local government HHW programs\n Familiarity with paint products and their applications\n Familiarity and comfort with paint users, particularly trade painters, contractors, paint retailers, and property managers\n Experience with and/or knowledge of retail operations and communications, including big box, chain, franchise, co-op, and independent stores\n Experience with public speaking, training, and/or making presentations\n Ability to self-motivate and work independently from home\n Willingness to travel extensively within New York State\n Occasional travel to Washington D.C. and other U.S. locations is required\n Ability to receive and store bulk orders of point-of-sale materials, conference supplies, a booth kit, and other outreach materials\n Proficiency with computers and typical office software\n Valid state driver's
