You will be responsible for engaging your team to maintain the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, performance, and engagement. Daily responsibilities will include priority setting, maintaining work standards, and implementing methods to enhance workflow by identifying issues and expediting solutions.\nYOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:\nLead the day-to-day operations in a fast paced, E-Commerce distribution environment \nMaintain a motivating and positive leadership presence through active associate engagement\nPromote a culture of safety among associates by prioritizing safety protocols\nDrive success by motivating, teaching, and holding team members accountable\nConduct daily shift briefings\nEnsure adequate staffing for each shift based on resources and associate skill-sets\nProvide associates with meaningful developmental opportunities\nProactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives\nRegularly evaluate associate performance, including annual review\nMaintain documentation on associate attendance, productivity, behavior, and safety\nEnsure fiscal responsibility through labor and supply cost control\nPromote positive team relationships through effective communication and recognition\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\nStand for long periods of time and walk continuously \nPull merchandise from multiple levels of shelving or move merchandise as needed\nClimb stairs and perform work at platform heights up to 60 feet\nLift up to 50lbs. Specific weight requirements may vary within each department\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nBachelor's Degree in Business Management, Logistics or equivalent work experience\nTwo years supervisory experience, preferably in a warehouse or distribution center environment\nExcellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, and strong attention to detail\nIntermediate computer skills including Google suite and Kronos Time-keeping Software Solutions\nSchedule flexibility, including nights and weekends \nAbility to step in and support other departments as needed\nBonus: Bilingual in Spanish\nPAY/BENEFITS INFORMATION:\nActual starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to relevant experience and location.\nSubject to eligibility requirements, associates may receive health care benefits (including medical, vision, and dental); wellness benefits; 401(k) retirement benefits; life and disability insurance; employee stock purchase program; paid time off; paid sick leave; and parental leave and benefits.\nPaid Time Off, paid sick leave, and holiday pay vary by job level and type, job location, employment classification (part-time or full-time / exempt or non-exempt), and years of service.
