Independently performs advanced business and project analysis for any sized project.Job Description\nWhat You'll Do:\nEssential Job Functions & Tasks:\nGather, analyze, and document business, functional, technical, and security requirements for Maximo solutions.\nTranslate business needs into secure Maximo configurations through process analysis, workflow design, and system setup.\nDesign, develop, and administer complex Maximo security models, including roles, groups, permissions, and access controls.\nCollaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to deliver enhancements, projects, integrations, and support initiatives.\nProvide mentoring, guidance, and knowledge transfer to business analysts and project team members.\nLead stakeholder workshops and requirements sessions to gather, refine, and validate business needs.\nSupport technology investment planning, budgeting, and prioritization to maximize business value and operational efficiency.\nPartner with business and IT leadership to align Maximo strategy, roadmaps, and technology investments with organizational goals.\nApply Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies to support Maximo implementations, upgrades, and modernization efforts.\nDevelop business cases, process documentation, security designs, governance standards, and other key project deliverables.\nSupport enterprise-scale Maximo environments by troubleshooting application, security, and data issues, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce licensing costs, and ensuring stable, secure operations.\nAdditional Requirements:\n5 years of experience managing users and security within Maximo and/or Maximo Application Suite (MAS). \n2 years of experience using SQL for data analysis.\nPreferred Skills & Experience:\nRelevant experience in a nuclear power plant or electric power generation utility is strongly preferred.\nWhat We're Looking For:\nEducation and Work Experience requirements are listed below:\nBachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business or related field of study; Or Associate's degree in computer science or related field of study with 2 years of relevant work experience; Or High school diploma/GED with 4 years of relevant work experience.\nWork Experience Requirements are listed below:\nIn addition to any experience required above, 7 years of relevant work experience is required.\nWhat You'll Get:\nBase salary\nAnnual bonus\nLong-term incentive\n401(k) match\nAEP Pension\nComprehensive benefits package designed to support and enhance the overall well-being of employees.\nAt AEP, we’re more than just an energy company - we’re a team of dedicated professionals committed to delivering safe, reliable, and innovative energy solutions.
