The role emphasizes user research, discovery, experience planning, user flows and experience concepts, prototyping, and usability testing, using human-centered design to move from understanding a problem to exploring and validating potential solutions.Working with business and Technology partners, the UX Designer helps translate user needs and research insights into intuitive, accessible, and scalable experiences, including AI-enabled experiences that support customer and employee transformation. Under limited guidance, the UX Designer performs intermediate UX research and design activities while continuing to develop skills and contribute to increasingly complex initiatives.\nJob Description\nWhat you’ll do:\nEssential Job Functions & Tasks\nUX Research, Discovery and Strategy\nPlan and conduct user research, including interviews, usability studies, card sorting, tree testing, collaborative workshops, discovery activities, and other qualitative and quantitative methods, with guidance as needed.\nAnalyze and synthesize research into actionable insights and create UX artifacts such as personas, journey maps, experience maps, test plans, moderator guides, and other research deliverables.\nParticipate in and help facilitate discovery, ideation, and co-creation activities with customers, employees, business partners, subject matter experts, and multidisciplinary teams.\nCommunicate research insights to help teams make informed product, service, and experience decisions.\nContribute to experience visions and strategies that connect user needs with business objectives and technology capabilities.\nExplore how emerging technologies, including AI, can improve customer and employee experiences and address meaningful user needs.\nRepresent user needs and perspectives in product and technology discussions to help teams remain focused on the experience and problem being solved.\nExperience Design and Prototyping\nTranslate research insights and user needs into user flows, information architecture, experience concepts, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.\nDesign intuitive and accessible experiences that consider user needs, business objectives, technical considerations, and established design standards.\nCreate and iterate concepts and prototypes based on research, usability testing, user feedback, and input from the project team.\nApply information architecture, usability, experience design, and accessibility principles when developing user flows, concepts, and prototypes.\nUse established design systems, reusable components, and experience patterns when developing and testing concepts.\nContribute to the design, prototyping, and testing of conversational, personalized, assisted, and other AI-enabled experiences.\nCollaborate with business and Technology partners throughout the experience lifecycle, communicating design rationale and incorporating feedback into design decisions.\nTools and Practices\nUse UX design, research, collaboration, prototyping, and testing tools such as Figma, Sketch, Claude Code / Design, Miro, UserTesting, Optimal Workshop, or similar tools.\nApply human-centered design, UX research, information architecture, usability, accessibility, and experience design methods based on the needs of the initiative.\nContribute ideas for improving UX processes, methods, tools, and practices.\nBuild knowledge of emerging technologies and experience trends, including how AI is changing customer expectations, employee workflows, and digital interactions.\nContinue developing skills in UX research, experience planning, prototyping, facilitation, and emerging UX practices.\nQualifications\nRequired Experience\nExperience applying human-centered design principles to digital products, services, or experiences.\nExperience conducting user research and usability testing and translating findings into design recommendations.\nExperience creating UX deliverables such as user flows, information architecture, wireframes, experience concepts, prototypes, or journey maps.\nWorking knowledge of information architecture, experience design, accessibility, usability, and UX research methods.\nExperience using UX research, design, prototyping, collaboration, or testing tools.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills and the ability to perform intermediate UX assignments with limited guidance.\nPreferred Experience\nExperience or exposure to service design, experience strategy, journey mapping, or design thinking.\nExperience researching and designing customer- or employee-facing digital experiences.\nExperience or interest in researching, designing, prototyping, or testing AI-enabled digital experiences.\nPreferred Education\nBachelor’s degree in User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Psychology, Cognitive Science, Anthropology, Information Science, Design, Design Research, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience.\n\nWhat We're Looking For:\nEducation requirements are listed below:\nBachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business or related field of study;
