Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.\nInspects products to verify conformance to specifications and directs setup and adjustments of machines. \nStudies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment. \nInterprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations. \nInterprets specifications and job orders to workers and assigns duties. \nEstablishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules. \nRecommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product. \nSuggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew. \nAnalyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems. \nInitiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals. \nMaintains time and production records. \nEstimates, requisitions, and inspects materials. \nConfers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments. \nOther duties as assigned. \nSkills, Knowledge & Expertise\nAssociate’s degree in general education, other focus, or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. \nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. SyteLine or SalesForce software experience is beneficial \nMATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and interest.\n\nLANGUAGE SKILLS: Fluency in English, both written and oral, is required. Ability to read and write reports, business correspondence, and customary business documents. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of employees, managers, clients and customers in small or large groups settings.\n\nTECHNOLOGICAL SKILLS: Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word; SyteLine or Sales Force software experience is beneficial.\n\n REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
