We’re here to help our colleagues achieve success and offer an inclusive and collaborative culture where your voice is valued.\nWhat You’ll Do\nLead and mentor a team of backend/Boomi Integration engineers in delivering high-quality software solutions and define technical architecture and design patterns for the Amex GBT mid, back office and Boomi Integration systems\n\nDrive technical decision-making and establish development guidelines and conduct code reviews and ensure consistency to coding standards and quality guidelines\n\nCollaborate with product managers, architects, and customers on technical roadmap planning and design and develop complex Dell Boomi Integrations, backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot\n\nArchitect and implement scalable microservices solutions for travel booking and operational workflows and optimize PostgreSQL database performance and design efficient data models\n\nDeploy and handle applications on AWS ROSA (Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS) platform and manage EC2 instances and implement cloud-native solutions\n\nProvide expert-level application support and resolve complex production issues, lead sprint planning, technical grooming and delivery estimation and develop a collaborative team environment and promote knowledge sharing\n\nCoordinate with multi-functional teams and manage technical dependencies , drive continuous improvement initiatives and technology adoption and participate in hiring and onboarding of new team members\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nBachelor’s in Technology with minimum 10 years of professional Java development and Dell Boomi Integration experience with 3+ years in technical leadership roles\n\nExpert-level proficiency in Java 8+ and advanced programming concepts and deep expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and enterprise Java patterns\n\nAdvanced knowledge of PostgreSQL including performance tuning, query optimization, and database design and extensive experience with AWS cloud services, particularly ROSA (Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS) and EC2\n\nProven experience in designing and implementing microservices architecture at scale and strong background in application support, production solving, and incident management\n\nExperience leading development teams and mentoring junior developers and excellent communication and customer management skills\n\nStrong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies and experience in travel industry, TMC operations, or expense management systems\n\nKnowledge of additional AWS services (EKS, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFormation) and experience with event-driven architecture and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)\n\nFamiliarity with monitoring and observability tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) and understanding of security frameworks, compliance requirements (PCI DSS, GDPR)\n\nExperience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code and knowledge of performance testing and capacity planning and certification in AWS or Red Hat OpenShift\n\nDell Boomi Integration, Java 11+, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA and PostgreSQL, Redis, RESTful APIs, GraphQL , AWS ROSA, EC2, Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift , Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Maven/Gradle and Monitoring: CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana\n\nLocation\nBangalore, IndiaThe #TeamGBT Experience\nWork and life: Find your happy medium at Amex GBT.\nFlexible benefits are tailored to each country and start the day you do.
