GCS partners with corporate clients to help them manage travel expenses and make purchases through proprietary payment solutions and expense management tools.\nIf you are ready for more than just a job, are not afraid of embracing challenges and setting and exceeding big goals, American Express invites you to share your resume to be considered for future opportunities on our Large Market Sales team.\nThe Manager, Business Development will be responsible for acquiring net new prospects to American Express as well as expanding and cross-selling existing customers within the Large Market, Global Commercial Services (GCS) division.\nCandidates must reside within the United States.\n Acquire net new prospects with annual revenues above $300M+\nExpand and Cross-Sell existing American Express customers with annual revenue of above $300M\nLead strategic selling in alignment with compliance and internal partner business requirements\nDevelop and execute a growth strategy, adapting plans and priorities to address resource/operational requirements.\nAchieve Sales CV Targets\nExecute a multi-layered, complex sales cycle\nSell core and supplier payments American Express solutions\nSpend significant time identifying opportunities, ensuring set-up/ card issuing, and managing signings through the first 19 months of Booked Charge Volume\n Minimum Qualifications:\nAdvanced analytical skills to bring concepts to life through data\nProven track record in Fintech and/or B2B sales negotiations, leadership and closing skills with Fortune 1000 companies.\nHunter mentality\nProven track record in sales negotiations, leadership and closing skills with Fortune 1000 companies.\nStrong understanding of complexities, nuances, and opportunities in payments industry across a variety of global markets.\nThorough knowledge of successful consultative selling techniques within Procurement, Treasury and Finance related to supply payments. \nExtensive experience with complex sales planning and execution.\nStrong financial acumen.\nLeverages lead sources to identify opportunities and proactively schedule warm account review appointments with prospects\nUses appropriate interpersonal styles and communication methods to gain acceptance for products and/ or services\nExceptional thought leadership, strategic thinking skills and project management aptitude.\nOutstanding presentation and negotiation skills and ability to interface and influence at the most senior levels.\nStrong collaboration and leadership skills\nAbility to travel as required.\nBachelor’s Degree required;
