The position is also responsible for day-to-day supervision of the physical security infrastructure that protects American Express, its employees, contractors and customers against harm and losses.\n Principal Accountabilities:\nPhysical Security Conduct ongoing security reviews and make recommendations for changes where appropriate.\nConduct and support Security Audits, identify security gaps, document findings, recommend corrective actions, and track remediation through closure.\nCoordinate with security contractors to ensure compliance with service level agreements and consistent application of policies and procedures by contract personnel.\nProvide assistance to the Manager in the development and implementation of Security-related controls.\nInterface with business partners in supporting planned/unplanned employee moves, construction projects, and special events.\nSupport internal/external security reviews and audits, maintain required documentation, and ensure identified security gaps are remediated within agreed timelines.\n\nCrisis ManagementActively support the Crisis Management and Emergency Response program.\n\nExecutive Protection Provide executive protection as assigned.\n\nMiscellaneousConduct investigations into Workplace violence incidents.\nOn-call 24/7/365 and provide timely response/escalation for critical security incidents and emergencies outside normal business hours if needed.\nliaise/coordinate with local administration and law enforcement and support internal investigations.\nThis is a 24/7 working enviorment role.\n\nBreadth of Responsibility:\nPosition will be responsible for supporting the Manager within the specified geographic area.\nAutonomy/Problem Solving & Decision Making:\nThe incumbent must possess strong leadership skills to effectively manage emergency situations.\n Minimum of 3 years of corporate security experience required;
