This menswear-focused concept will bring together American Giant apparel with a curated assortment of accessories and lifestyle goods from other exceptional American-made brands.\nAs a Sales Associate, you will create an engaging shopping experience for our customers and build long-lasting client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a real passion for style, enjoy engaging with others, and be eager to develop their retail skills.\nResponsibilities\nCustomer Experience\nInitiates conversation and interacts with the customer in an authentic, personalized way\nUtilizes technology to enhance the customer’s experience\nShares product knowledge, recommendations and personal experiences to engage with the customer\nSuggests alternate products, complementary pieces, outfitting tips, and/or styling ideas based on the customer’s personal style and interests to build their basket\nOperations\nTakes initiative in development of job skills and knowledge to drive store sales and achieve operational results\nAssists in the completion of daily projects while keeping the focus on the customer experience\nDemonstrates awareness and adheres to Loss Prevention, Inventory Control, safety standards, and all other Company policies and procedures\nMaintains store and backstock standards\nCommunity & Events\nAssist with in-store events\nHelp drive local community engagement\nNote: This document serves only as a sample of job duties and responsibilities and does not include an exhaustive list of all performance requirements.\nExperience + Qualifications\n1+ years of customer service experience in retail environment preferred\nDeeply understands and loves the American Giant brand\nMust be at least 18+ years old or older\nAvailable to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs-including nights, weekends, peak busy season, and high-traffic retail days (including, but not limited to, public holidays)\nAbility to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly and to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver throughout the sales floor and stockroom\nJob Type\nFull-time\nSalary\n$19.50 - $21.00 per hour\nEqual Opportunity Employer Statement\nAmerican Giant is an equal opportunity employer.
