Be Valued at the American Heart Association by following us on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, and at heart.jobs.\nResponsibilities\nAssist staff with day-to-day tasks that support fundraising, volunteer recruitment/management activities, including customer relationship management.\nCoordinate logistics for select events and meetings including pre-, day-of, and post- event/meeting duties.\nDevelop, input, and maintain information in appropriate computer software programs, including a CRM and event specific software.\nHandle report generation, including manipulating data from multiple systems.\nPerform office management/reception duties including processing ingoing and outgoing mail, handling incoming calls, maintaining supply and materials, and working with vendors on any office-related needs.\nHandle financial tasks, including paying invoices, tracking expenses, and processing donations.\nMaintain staff calendars and handle scheduling.\nDevelop event and meeting materials as needed.\nQualifications\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent \nThree (3) years prior relevant work experience that includes:Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet specified timelines.\nAdministrative expertise with complex clerical responsibilities and data management.\nEffective verbal and written communication skills\nEffective interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop collaborative working relationships internally and externally.\nAbility to coordinate, plan and implement corporate events, both in-person and digital experiences.\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Canva. \nAbility to do daily local travel; requires access to reliable transportation at all times on an immediate basis.\nHere are some of the preferred skills we are looking for:\nDemonstrated ability to recruit, train and manage volunteers in a group setting with success in delegating and accomplishing goals through empowering volunteers. \nKnowledge of corporate and community networks.\nKnowledge of American Heart Association’s mission and programs.\nKnowledge of Salesforce and Luminate software.\nCompensation & Benefits\nThe American Heart Association invests in its people.
