All Ontario Recycling has built a strong business culture based on key values of honesty, integrity and teamwork that govern what we will do to meet our customer’s metal recycling needs.\nWhat we offer:\n$36/hour\nA competitive compensation package\nOvertime after 44 hours!\nVacation, benefits and a RRSP matching program\nThe tools and support needed to be successful in your career and professional development\nA dynamic & rewarding work environment that is also a lot of fun!\n The AZ Machine Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation, setup, and operation of mobile processing equipment at various customer and job sites.\nWhat you’re responsible for:\nSafely operate an AZ truck equipped with a float deck and transport mobile equipment, including a shear and/or material handler, to and from customer and job sites.\nComplete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and ensure the vehicle and equipment are in proper operating condition.\nMaintain required trip records, inspection reports, and other applicable documentation.\nLoad, secure, transport, unload, and position mobile equipment at various job sites.\nSet up equipment in an appropriate location based on site conditions and job requirements.\nReport equipment damage, mechanical issues, or operational concerns to the appropriate supervisor.\nOperate mobile shears and/or material handlers as required by the specific job and process metal and other materials according to customer specifications and job requirements.\nSort, move, load, cut, shear, or otherwise process material as required.\nAdjust equipment operation based on the type, size, and condition of the material being processed.\nPerform routine equipment checks and identify maintenance or repair requirements.\nTravel throughout the week to various customer locations and job sites.\nTo join our team:\nPrevious experience working in a rail, industrial, construction, or similar environment is considered an asset.\nPrevious leadership or team lead experience is preferred.\nStrong mechanical aptitude and hands-on repair skills.\nWelding experience is considered an asset.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to accurately record information.\nExcellent communication and ability to provide clear direction to team members.\nAbility to remain alert and focused for extended periods.\nStrong situational awareness and ability to recognize changing conditions.\nAbility to make timely decisions in a safety-sensitive environment.\nAbility to work effectively as part of a team while also taking responsibility for coordinating team activities.\nValid driver's licence and ability to operate a vehicle as required.\nAbility and willingness to work outdoors in varying weather and job-site conditions.","description_format":"text","description_chars":2943,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"bachelor","optional":false},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[{"language":"English","level":"All levels","optional":false}]},"benefits":["Professional development"],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Waste Management","Metals & Metallurgy"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-16T19:33:46Z"}],"visa":[{"country":"CA","licensed_sponsor":true,"evidence":"Positions approved through LMIA in 12 months: 20","filings_12m":20,"filings_prev_12m":8,"green_card_filings_12m":null,"median_offered_wage_usd":null,"route":"High Wage;
