We look forward to receiving your application to join our exceptional team.\nPosition Summary\nThe Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end accounts payable function at American Leather, ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and payments while upholding strong internal controls and accounting integrity. In addition to managing daily operations, this role will focus on leading the AP team, standardizing processes, implementing scalable solutions, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.\nThis position requires a strong leader with deep knowledge of AP operations and a passion for building efficient workflows and collaborative teams. The ideal candidate will balance hands-on problem-solving with strategic process design and cross-functional partnership.\nEssential Functions & Responsibilities\nAccounts Payable Operations\nManage all aspects of the accounts payable cycle, including invoice intake, coding, approvals, and timely payments.\nOversee processing of both PO and non-PO invoices, ensuring proper routing and compliance with company policy.\nEnsure proper 3-way match is performed for PO invoices (purchase order, goods receipt, and invoice) prior to payment.\nResolve discrepancies between purchase orders, receivers, and vendor invoices in partnership with the Purchasing and Receiving teams.\nCoordinate and execute weekly and monthly payment runs (ACH, wires, checks).\nMaintain vendor master data and ensure accuracy of payment terms, remittance information, and compliance documentation.\nEnsure accurate month-end accruals and timely closing of AP-related ledgers.\nMonitor AP aging reports and support cash forecasting efforts.\nOversee the annual 1099 reporting process and ensure tax-related compliance.\nSupport internal and external audits by providing AP-related documentation and schedules.\nSome great perks and benefits you will receive:\nCompetitive compensation and health insurance include medical, dental, vision, life, short/long-term disability, a flexible spending account, and a 401k plan.
