Consecutive weeks earn $2 per scheduled hour worked,paid weekly.\nSafety Incentive Programwith quarterly rewards and a special annual award for injury-free performance\nWeekly pay via direct deposit\nOpportunities for advancement and skill development\nOn-the-job training provided\nCompany-provided PPE\nComprehensive benefits package including:401(k) with company match\nHealth insurance\nHealth Savings Account (HSA)\nDental and vision insurance\nLife insurance\nShort- and long-term disability\nPaid vacation\n\nWhat You’ll Do\n\nLead Daily Production\nSupervise the day-to-day operation of an assigned manufacturing line.\nDirect employees toward established production goals and priorities.\nConduct shift meetings and communicate expectations, priorities, and operational updates.\nMonitor throughput, recovery, downtime, waste, and overall line efficiency.\nIdentify production bottlenecks or process issues and take appropriate action within the scope of the role.\nCommunicate significant operational concerns or production variances to plant management.\nCoach & Support Employees\nProvide frontline direction, coaching, feedback, and accountability to assigned production employees.\nReinforce company policies, procedures, and standard work expectations.\nHelp ensure employees receive and follow required training for equipment operation, safety, quality, and standard work practices.\nIdentify additional training needs and communicate them to plant management.\nModel teamwork, accountability, respect, and a positive workplace culture.\nChampion Safety\nReinforce company safety policies, OSHA requirements, PPE requirements, lockout/tagout procedures, and safe operating practices.\nAddress unsafe practices within the scope of the position and promptly escalate significant safety concerns.\nParticipate in incident investigations and support assigned corrective or preventive actions.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.\nProtect Product Quality\nMonitor production to ensure lumber meets established quality standards and customer specifications.\nIdentify quality concerns and recurring variances.\nCommunicate significant or ongoing quality issues to plant management.\nSupport Equipment Reliability\nMonitor equipment condition and identify developing mechanical or operational concerns.\nCoordinate with maintenance personnel to report equipment problems and support timely repairs.\nHelp minimize unplanned downtime by communicating potential equipment failures early.\nSupport scheduled preventive maintenance activities as directed by plant management and maintenance personnel.\nDrive Continuous Improvement\nIdentify practical opportunities to improve safety, quality, productivity, waste reduction, and equipment reliability.\nRecommend improvements to plant leadership and support approved improvement initiatives.\nWork collaboratively with maintenance, operations, quality, and other departments to resolve production challenges.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n\nPrevious supervisory or lead experience in a lumber, sawmill, wood-products, or manufacturing environment is preferred.\nWorking knowledge of manufacturing processes and production equipment; lumber manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.\nAbility to read and interpret production reports, quality specifications, and safety requirements.\nStrong frontline leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.\nAbility to coach employees, reinforce expectations, and hold team members accountable.\nAbility to make sound decisions within assigned authority and recognize when an issue should be escalated.\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nFlexibility to work nights, weekends, and overtime as operational needs require.\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or education is preferred.\n\nWhat Success Looks Like\n\nA successful Line Supervisor creates consistency on the production floor.
