This role is an experienced individual contributor who owns features from requirements through production delivery and plays a critical role in improving system reliability, performance, and engineering standards.\nMust be a US Citizen or Green Card holder to be considered.\nMust be within a commutable distance of Omaha NE or Albany NY \nThis is an in-office position candidates must be within commuting distance of our Omaha NE or Albany NY Office. No Relocation will be offered at this time.\nWhat You Will Do:\nDesign and develop modern 3-tier web applications across front-end, back-end, and data layers\nBuild and maintain RESTful APIs, system integrations, and reusable services\nTranslate business requirements into clear, maintainable technical solutions\nDeliver complex features end-to-end, including development, automated testing, deployment, and validation\nMake informed technical decisions that balance long-term maintainability with business needs\nTroubleshoot and resolve production issues with a focus on root-cause analysis\nCollaborate closely with product owners, QA, architects, and cross-functional engineering teams\nParticipate in code reviews and contribute to improving engineering practices and standards\nSupport cloud-based deployments, performance tuning, and scalability initiatives\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field. Equivalent experience or relevant certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree\n4+ years of professional web development experience\nStrong hands-on experience with;\nREST API development; \nReact, JavaScript/TypeScript; and \nWriting optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and working with relational databases\nAbility to read/parse JSON and XML, and write unit/integration tests\nExperience with Git and modern version-control workflows\nFamiliarity with secure coding practices and cybersecurity standards\nAbility to work across the full software development lifecycle\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills\nNice to Have:\nExperience working in Agile or SAFe environments\nBackground in insurance or financial services\nExperience with cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure)\nExperience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, or automated deployments\nExperience with NestJS and Node.js\nCandidates whose experience does not fully align with the stated requirements may be considered at an adjusted level. Title and compensation will be commensurate with experience and aligned with internal equity.\nThe base salary range provided below is for hires in those geographic areas only and will be commensurate with candidate experience.
