This role focuses on preparing machines, installing tooling and fixtures, verifying programs, and supporting operators to keep production running smoothly.\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:\n2-4+ years of CNC machining or setup experience.\nStrong understanding of tooling, work holding, offsets, and machine operation.\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions.\nProficiency with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators, height gauges).\nBasic understanding of G-code and CNC control navigation (Fanuc, Siemens, Celos, or similar).\nREQUIRED PERSONAL SKILLS:\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision\nStrong communication skills and willingness to collaborate with others\nStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\nExcellent work ethic, reliability, and consistent attendance\nAbility to read and write in English is required.\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:\nSet up CNC machines by installing tooling, fixtures, work holding, and verifying correct program selection.\nRead and interpret blueprints, job travelers, and setup sheets to determine machining requirements.\nLoad and align raw material, establish work offsets, and run first-article parts to confirm accuracy.\nPerform program verification and minor G-code edits when needed to ensure safe and efficient operation.\nInspect first-article and in-process parts using precision measuring tools to confirm dimensions and tolerances.\nTroubleshoot setup-related issues, including tool wear, work holding problems, and dimensional deviations.\nSupport CNC operators by providing clear instructions, answering questions, and ensuring smooth handoff after setup.\nMaintain tooling, fixtures, and setup documentation, reporting any issues or improvement opportunities.\nWork closely with Engineering and Quality to resolve machining challenges and improve processes.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.\nCarry out additional machining or production tasks as assigned to support workflow and production goals.\nEmployment is contingent upon passing a pre-employment drug screening, including THC, in accordance with federal guidelines.
