Hybrid position allowing for work from home 1 day per week after 1 year of service.\nResponsibilities\nOperate CAD software to prepare and update drawings, layouts, and plan sets for roadway and transportation projects.\nAssist engineers and senior technicians in developing and assembling construction documents.\nReview sketches, notes, and design input to ensure drawings meet established standards and specifications.\nMaintain accurate file organization and documentation according to project and company standards.\nPerform redline revisions and quality checks under the direction of senior staff.\nSupport the preparation of exhibits, details, and design layouts for use in reports and presentations.\nApply company drafting standards, templates, and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.\nCoordinate with engineers and project teams to address design revisions and updates.\nParticipate in internal team meetings and contribute to process improvement ideas.\nAssist with development of 3-dimensional design elements and modeling of roadways.\nUse data visualization and building information modeling to provide additional data or smart lines in CAD drawings to assist with plan development, coordination with contractors and inspectors.\nSupport transportation or infrastructure projects.\nPlotting, file management, and basic CAD customization.\nThis position will use MicroStation and/or OpenRoads Designer.\nThis position will use AutoCAD and other CAD platforms.\nThis position will work with INDOT standards, procedures, and plan preparation guidelines.\nRequires: Associate degree in Computer Graphics Technology, Computer-Aided Drafting/Design, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field. In the alternative, a Technical diploma in Computer Graphics Technology, Computer-Aided Drafting/Design, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field will also be considered.\nThe annual salary
