Explore opportunities with us and help improve the quality of life in the communities we serve.\nGroup: Road\nPosition: Drainage Engineer\nLocation: Tampa or Orlando, FL\nWe are looking for a team oriented and technically gifted Drainage Engineer to become the next integral member of our Florida Road Group.\nResponsibilities\nProvide FDOT Roadway Support, particularly focusing on drainage design and implementation\n\nLead permitting efforts, ensuring compliance with WMD Permitting Processes\n\nLead pond siting activities, utilizing best practices and analysis methods\n\nAssist in pursuit activities related to drainage projects, contributing technical expertise\n\nMentor junior staff members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development\n\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field \nFlorida Professional Engineer (PE) license\nProficiency in FDOT Drainage preferences\nFamiliarity with WMD Permitting Processes\nExperience in pond siting methodologies\nStrong proficiency in ICPR/HECRAS software \nOther duties as assigned \nPhysical Demands:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
