It is our goal to deliver strategic marketing initiatives in support of American Structurepoint’s mission and market share growth objectives.\nThis position is part of an industry-leading marketing communications team that thrives on delivering unique and creative proposals that inspire, inform, and captivate our readers. This individual should have demonstrated proposal coordination and writing experience, with a comprehensive understanding of today’s best practices in proposal development. This individual must also have a passion for identifying potential pursuit opportunities, development of high-quality proposals, creative writing, and enjoy leading and submitting a very high quantity of proposals each month. This individual must also have a passion for the “win”, must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and possess a strong work ethic!\nResponsibilities\nWith guidance from the proposal leadership team, the Senior Proposal Coordinator works closely with the entire marketing communications team, technical architecture and engineering staff, and executive leadership at all levels across the firm.\nPrepare/develop high-quality architecture and engineering (A/E) proposals, qualification documents, and presentations for the company’s highest profile/most complex proposal pursuits, regardless of A/E discipline.\nAdvise a team of proposal coordinators on key pursuits to help prepare high-quality A/E proposals, qualification documents, and shortlist/interview presentations.\nAttend strategic kickoff meetings; work with proposal coordinators to compile necessary information to develop proposals, presentations, and qualifications, and coordinate with other A/E teaming partners.\nProvide the team of proposal managers and proposal coordinators with additional quality control/quality assurance reviews of proposal deliverables as requested.\nProvide proposal reviews and QA/QC on key pursuits across the US to ensure the win strategy/theme, critical success factors, and differentiators are clearly articulated and to ensure proposal requirements are being met.\nAssist in the hiring, onboarding, training, and mentorship of new staff and/or assist in the ongoing training of proposal coordinators. This includes regular coaching of our proposal team on proposal development best practices and our firm’s proposal process.\nCommunicate with all levels (executives, engineers, architects, project managers, and technical staff).\nMeet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks.\nFacilitate brainstorming/strategy meetings with key individuals to gather information and edit technical content.\nResearch and maintain competitor analysis and market research.\nIdentify key goals, objectives, or outcomes.\nUphold company brand standards and maintain proposal standards.\nSeek continual refinement and improvement of existing processes and implement enhancements to improve efficiency and productivity.\nManage proposal team assignments and workload distribution among the proposal team.\nConduct regular competitor proposal peer reviews and document new ideas/trends to strengthen the firms’ future proposals.\nAttend proposal debriefs and seek regular client feedback on proposals to better inform the firms’ future proposal responses.\nEnsure lessons learned from client debriefs and other best practices are documented and shared across all members of the proposal team and other key staff within the organization to help clarify reasons why we win or lose\nOther duties as assigned\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Business, Marketing, Journalism or related degree.\nFive or more years of experience developing and coordinating proposals; experience in the AEC industry preferred\nProficient in Microsoft Office.\nProficient in the use of Adobe Acrobat Software.\nAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.\nExcellent copywriting skills and should be able to rework technical content for a wider audience.\nAbility to build excellent working relationships to attain goals.\nOrganized, self-motivated, confident, energetic, and creative.\nEffectively communicate and make best use of interpersonal skills.\nAbility to deliver creative and innovative thoughts.\nStrong ability to multi-task to sustain a number of projects at once.\nAbility to meet schedules, organize complex material, determine appropriate level of effort, understand technical and professional service-related material and work with minimal
