You will also organize, direct, and coordinate the planning, oversight, and implementation of specific projects and initiatives within the bounds of a program. You may be responsible for directing individuals or teams of resources in the execution of project tasks towards the successful completion of deliverables, objectives, and goals. You will be responsible for adherence to project schedules and budgets. You will also interact with Senior Managers, Customers, and internal teams in the pursuit of successful project execution. Additionally, in this positions you will:\nProvide high-level administrative support to the Program Manager. \nServe as a liaison between team members, the Program Manager, and Customer project managers. \nSupport the recruiting and hiring processes (review candidate resumes, coordinate interviews, etc.).\nAssist with processing and tracking candidates through the government background check processes. \nResponsible for the creation and tracking of project deliverables, documentation, and compliance requirements.\nResponsible for the development of requirements for their project(s), and adherence to those requirements throughout project execution and delivery.\nResponsible for the creation of, and adherence to, project budget and schedules. \nResponsible for identification, documentation, management, and escalation of all project risks, issues, and opportunities.\nAssist with the creation and tracking of program deliverables, documentation, and compliance requirements.\nCreate and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.\nAct as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants.\nQualifications\nAs a requirement of this position, all candidates must be a U.S. Citizen. In accordance with 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(2)(C).\nBachelor’s degree in related field. \nSix (6) to eight (8) years of experience in a project coordinator or project management role and four (4) - six (6) years of experience in a technical role or federal/government environment \nMust have an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret with SCI eligibility or have an active Top Secret with SCI eligibility.\nWill be subject to federal background investigation.\nProven ability to lead technical teams and coordinate personnel resources to achieve program and project objectives.\nSuperior oral and written communication skills.\nHighly detail-oriented with excellent follow-through, prioritization, and time management skills.\nExceptional customer service and interpersonal skills. \nProficiency with both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.\nProficiency with project management toolsets (MS Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.).\nMust be able to travel to various Company locations and/or Customer sites across the United States for meetings and onsite visits, as needed by the Company/Customer.Must be able to travel by airplane both domestically and internationally.\nOperate a motor vehicle for extended periods of time.\n\nPay Transparency Statement\nAMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $115,000.00/Yr. - USD $175,000/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
