We're hiring the best engineers, designers, and builders to solve the hardest problem in America.\nAs a Lead Structures Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, manufacturing, and assembly of all structural components.\nWhat You'll Do\nOwn the design of floor, wall, and roof panels, along with all associated connectors and hardware\n\nOwn the design, buildout, and commissioning of the panel shop in our new factory\n\nOwn all improvements to the panel shop in our current factory\n\nOwn the packing, shipping, and rigging methods and hardware for building shell\n\nOwn the install methods and associated hardware for building shell onsite assembly\n\nBuild and lead a team of engineers, manufacturing specialists, and R&D technicians to design every component and their manufacturing and assembly methods\n\nCollaborate with structural engineers, architects, and designers to make sure every component is code compliant and meets our customers needs\n\nObtain all necessary certifications and approvals for structural components\n\nManage supply chain, quality, assembly, and delivery - work with company leadership to hire for these roles in the near future\n\nEstablish and track KPIs to understand how our engineering and manufacturing decisions are impacting the quality and cost of our buildings\n\nQualifications\n6+ years of experience in hardware development\n\nStrong technical background in mechanical design, structural analysis, DFMA, and production\n\nProven experience delivering large complex hardware products from low-rate prototypes to full-rate production\n\nAbility to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment\n\nExcellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills\n\nExtremely experienced with CAD/CAM/PLM, part families, and parametric modeling - experience with Siemens NX and Teamcenter preferred\n\nBachelor of Science or higher degree in a technical discipline preferred, not required\n\nCompensation\nThe overall cash compensation for this position ranges from $160,000 to $200,000.
