You will update inventory records, report operational errors, and support special projects and customer-specific requests. Occasional travel may be required for business purposes.\nEssential Functions\nConduct regular inventory counts including cycle counts and full physical inventories and record and communicate results as needed.\nResearch and resolve inventory discrepancies by investigating claims, adjusting quantities, handling damaged or missing inventory, and disposing of inventory as necessary.\nUpdate inventory records and discrepancies in the Warehouse Management System, including processing adjustments.\nAssist with special projects and handle customer-specific requests related to inventory.\nReport on operational errors that impact inventory performance.\nPromote a safe work environment by identifying and reporting safety concerns.\nPerform other inventory-related duties as requested.\nOther essential duties may be applicable and assigned as necessary.\nWhat Experience and Education You Need\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus minimum 1 year of office experience or equivalent training.\nExperience with AS/400 and Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.\nForklift license.\nWhat Could Set You Apart\nExperience managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a warehouse or logistics environment.\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.\nPhysical Requirements\nRequires several hours per day of sitting, getting up and down from chairs, reaching, and/or bending.\nRequires manual dexterity with normal hand and finger movements for typical office work, including the operation of computers, telephones, and similar equipment.\nRequires ability to comprehend and communicate with others verbally and/or in writing.\nMay require travel by automobile and airplane for business.\nMay require visits to warehouse operations in temperatures at or below freezing.\nMay require the occasional lifting, carrying, positioning, and/or moving of objects weighing up to 20 pounds.\nThe Company’s good-faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting for this position is $22.00 hourly.\n\nAmericold is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
