You will lead troubleshooting, repair, and adjustment of refrigeration and material handling equipment, monitor system performance, and recommend corrective actions. You will coordinate contractor activities, maintain preventive maintenance records, and support continuous improvement efforts across the site.\nEssential Functions\nProvide oversight and guidance to maintenance associates to ensure execution of department objectives and assignments.\nPerform operation, repair, and adjustment of refrigeration systems and material handling equipment.\nMonitor equipment and system performance, recommend corrective actions, and analyze reliability and availability.\nTroubleshoot building, refrigeration, and equipment systems to drive root cause analysis and implement solutions.\nDirect and oversee contractor work and inspect completed tasks for compliance with specifications and safety standards.\nMaintain accurate preventive maintenance records and lead continuous improvement initiatives across the site.\nSupport capability development of facility technicians and ensure effective communication across all maintenance shifts.\nOther essential duties may be applicable and assigned as necessary.\nWhat Experience and Education You Need\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\nMinimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, or minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience plus supervisory or lead experience.\nSkilled in industrial refrigeration, material handling equipment, dock door and leveler, plumbing, electrical, and building maintenance.\nRequired to complete assigned industrial refrigeration and maintenance courses and obtain HAZMAT certification.\nDemonstrated experience implementing and maintaining OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) programs in an industrial setting, and proficiency in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.\nWhat Could Set You Apart\nCARO or CIRO certification.\nExperience using Oracle Computerized Maintenance Management System.\nExperience training and developing less experienced technicians.\nExperience overseeing and inspecting work performed by maintenance associates.\nEffective verbal and written communication.\nAbility to manage multiple tasks efficiently.\nAdaptability in a fast-paced environment.\nCommitment to continuous improvement.\nPhysical Requirements\nAble to tolerate working environment with inside controlled temperatures of minus 45 (-45) degrees Fahrenheit (-43 degrees Celsius) and outside ambient temperatures (including heat, cold, and precipitation).\nAble to work at heights in excess of 30 ft. (9 meters) and access elevated platforms, catwalks, and roofs.\nAble to work in confined areas.\nAble to climb ladders and stairs.\nAble frequently to stand, walk, push, pull, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch.\nAble to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (23 kg) frequently.\nAble to operate hand and power tools safely.\nAble to meet specific vision abilities required by this job including close vision, distance vision, color vision, and depth perception.
