Partners with operational teams to maintain product integrity, food safety, and quality standards.\nEssential Functions\nLead and maintain food safety and quality programs.\nManage internal, customer, and third-party audits, ensuring continuous audit readiness.Oversee investigations of quality issues, customer complaints, and food safety incidents, implementing corrective actions as needed.\n\nDevelop, monitor, and report quality metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives.\nEnsure compliance with all regulatory, food safety, and quality standards across operations.\nTrain and mentor employees on food safety, quality standards, and best practices.\nEnsure adherence to budget and present team strategy within the organization.\nAdminister and monitor facility hold, USDA, and daily cycle count programs.\nCollaborate cross-functionally with multiple teams.\nOther essential duties may be applicable and assigned as necessary.\nWhat Experience and Education You Need\nMinimum 3 years of experience in warehousing or logistics.\nAssociate's degree or equivalent additional experience.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office.\nFamiliarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).\nWhat Could Set You Apart\n Experience in food manufacturing or food distribution.\n GFSI certification (SQF preferred), HACCP principles, and internal auditing (ASQ certifications).\nAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.\nAbility to clearly convey information in writing and verbally to team members and stakeholders.\nPhysical Requirements\nRequires several hours per day of sitting, getting up and down from chairs, reaching, and/or bending.\nRequires manual dexterity with normal hand and finger movements for typical office work, including the operation of computers, telephones, and similar equipment.\nRequires ability to comprehend and communicate with others, verbally and/or in writing.\nMay require travel by automobile and airplane for business.\nMay require visits to warehouse operations in temperatures at or below freezing.\nMay require the occasional lifting, carrying, positioning, and/or moving of objects weighing up to 20 pounds.\nAmericold is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
